Then I was introduced to forums: Barca
when Real bought Alonso: Barca
when Barca stole Masch for that embarrassing fee: Real Madrid
then I realized Mou manages Madrid: Barca
then Barca denied United 2 CL titles: gotta give it to them

interesting thread

at one point, Barca was my sec fav team, and i even considered myself a Barca fan, and when they won everything a few years ago a was happy for them

on the other hand i HATED madrid for so long ! their policy of paying crazy amounts on their signings was ruining football, and i hated them even more when they signed Beckham and played him as a CM, and i hated them even more when they kept him even when his presence ruined the balance of the team just to sell shirts, and i was thrilled everytime they got knocked out of the CL

but then 2 things happened that flipped my mind

first, Barca became the haven of bang waggoners and fanboys, and i coudlnt stand the attitude of their fans and their players, and their new trend of diving sealed the deal for me.

second, Madrid signed Mou, my fav coach, and their transfers became more reasonable so i basically had less reasons to hate them while they are the rivals of my new hated team so i kinda root for them

but at the end of the day, i cant call myself a madrid fan coz i only watch their big games just like any other european big team

always liked Madrid more even when madrid had the galacticos ....because they always showed respect to juve and they are close clubs I think ....

Barca I don't hate them or dislike them i don't dislike teams but their recent philosophy of buying any1 thats good wing ( Affelay,Sanchez) just to make the opponent weaker and put them on bench is putting negative things in my eyes and some of Xavi sayings to ...but I support their supporters I mean the real ones

I like both to be honest, used to be more with Barca, because of the stupid galacticos thing, but always had respect for the likes of raul, zidane, ronaldo(brazilian), hierro, and casillas. With barca i hate the diving crap, but i respect players like Puyol, xavi, intiesta, villa, abidal, and ofcourse i like messi alot. Henry is my favorite player of all time so when he was at barca i supported them more. Now madrid is turning around and have some great players ozil!!!!!! lol, not a fan of cr7, but he is outstanding player!! So i have to say i like them both!

Neither, they both suck. The el classico semis was a heavily marketed event in world football and it failed hard. It could have been something great. But Madrid chose to playing boring and dirty and Barca chose to cheat. I predict many football fans were lost that day.

Kinda hate both but 'root' for Real because of Khedözil.

Still, I only watched one clásico last season because I was so
appalled and disgusted by all the diving and play-acting in the
first one.

Funny how you say this, yet this poll reflects that Real Madrid has much more bandwagon and fanboys supporters than Barça. Which is also well known fact.
