arsenal lined up their best avaliable player in the first half.... and benfica did in the second when arsenal had youngsters and Squid...

I've always liked Aimar, brilliant player, sad he hasn't played for the seleccion in awhile, I wouldve liked to see him at the copa, would've done alot better.

Anyone wondering how the guy did not live up to his expectations?


Aimar is one of the top examples of how an Old-fashioned #10 is struggling in a modern game dominated more by pace and strength compared to before where technique was favored more.

He's not even close to being good enough to run the Argentine Midfield. Requelme is only one in recent times who can, but unfortunately... he's too old.

Unbelievable how strong the Argentinians are up top compared to how weak they are everywhere else. From midfield down it's downright mind boggling.

By no one who actually saw Maradona play, I ASSURE you!

So many people here claim I over rate him but the god's honest truth is, nothing I've said about him even remotely describes how good that man was in his prime. Never again, NEVER EVER! Not in my life time.
