Gattuso actually complaments Ibra by saying for a man of his talent and ability, he does in fact score below what he should despite his impressive numbers.

Like when he had Xavi, Messi and Iniesta and scored 16 league goals?

Ibra never was a great goalscorer, a scorer of great goals but not a great goalscorer. He works best when he's in the center of the party and have players moving around him. Expecting him to be the creator and to some extent destroyer. The problem isn't delivery, he's not the player who makes alot of runs so players can deliver to him. He prefer to get the ball and then have options moving around him. He would work better with a VdV behind him than Iniesta.

Ibrahimovic was a treadmill (running machine) in the first half of last season. And back then he was kicking good goals on a regular basis.

But he suffered burnout like many players and couldn't keep banging in the goals.

The problem though, when hes fit and on form, is that he rarely scores more than 1 goal per game. I think the only time last season he scores 2 goals or more was against Auxerre. And considering how often he can score goals in Serie A, if he can scores a few more braces and a hat trick, then theres nothing stopping him from kicking 30+ goals a season.

According to Wikipedia, he scored 21 goals in 39 games last season. A goal every two games seems adequate, but not very impressive, especially with Ronaldo's and Messi's ridiculous numbers around. However, IIRC, a lot of his goals were in narrow wins in the league when Milan wasn't playing too well. So, if most of his 21 goals in 39 games were decisive and winning lots of points to help his team win the league, then he does actually score ENOUGH.

People need to think about our midfield when dumping crap on Ibra. Gattuso cant do anything forward, Boateng has no Pirlo-passing at all, Seedorf can at times, but often reacts too slow. Van Bommel is often too far behind in midfield, though he is doing a great job at what he is doing, so no flame on him.

lol at the guy who loves trolling provoking Juve fans(when it's just me on this thread), when he claims he's gone from the forums, but yet he is still here. Let's report! Ibra, you surely are a Milanista, we said the same about Leonardo, who knows he might retrie again with Inter. Keep it up Ibra!

well technically speaking, "score" can refer to many things other than putting the ball in the net...
