REPORT:Had a very good game where he started and played for 90 minutes and would have opened the scoring for West Ham had his shot not hit the bar.But he managed to pull off a fortunate assist for Cole's goal,as West Ham slammed six past hapless Brighton.

REPORT:Scored a Henry-esque goal by cutting inside and curling the ball past the hapless GK,after showing some excellent close control.

SOME MORE REPORTS:

Benik Afobe came as a substitute for Reading and played for 13 minutes.Didn't have much chance of scoring as Reading were content to just move the ball around having sealed an emphatic 3-1 victory.

Sanchez Watt played the final ten minutes versus Wimbledon as his side came form behind to secure a draw.

Sead Hajrovic started and played 25 minutes versus Hereford before being substituted for eventual goal-scorer Ben May,as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

And now to our La Liga loanees:

Pedro Botelho started for Levante versus Barca but had a torrid time as he was deemed to have fouled Cuenca,who actually went down very easily.The resulting penalty was slotted home by Messi.Ironically Cuenca fouled Pedro Botelho later in the match.

Wellington Silva played the last 30 minutes in his side's 1-0 home defeat.

Nicholas Yennaris and Rhys Murphy weren't in the squad for Preston and Notts County respectively.

Samuel Galindo and Chuks Aneke were unused substitutes for Gimnastic de Tarragona and Preston respectively.

REPORT:Vela returned to his golden goal-scoring form as he equalized for Real in their match against Villareal.He scored his second over-head kick of the season,against the Yellow Submarines to take his season's tally to 11.

REPORT: Couldn't keep clean-sheets in both the games in which he started this week,but was generally good and put up a lot of good saves as Hull blazed to good home wins versus Barnsley{3-1} and Nottingham Forest{2-1}.

REPORT:Scored an all important goal in the 77th minute as Zenit came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 versus Kuban Krasnodar.He scored his goal as he poked the ball into the net from the edge of the six yard box.He was also responsible for the equalizing goal as well,giving the pre-assist for Shirokov's goal.

REPORT:Generally struggled against Swansea as he was up against the impressive and ever-improving Taylor,as he was unable to beat the defence and set up crosses unlike the previous games.Was substituted surprisingly at half-time versus Aston Villa,though he had been decent in the first half.Bolton eventually won the game 2-1.

REPORT:Frustrating game for Nicklas Bendtner as he was denied a clear goal as he was deemed offside though TV replays showed that he was actually onside when he headed Larson's cross into the net,late in the second half.But the big Dane was guilty of missing a chance to score earlier in the game.

Henri Lansbury

REPORT:After playing excellently versus Brigton,Henri was able to hold onto his starting position versus Bristol City and once again almost scored a goal,as his shot hit the bar in the second half.He came on for the last 5 minutes versus Leicester but could hardly make an impact during his very short time in the field.

REPORT:Came on as a sub against Lyon but couldn't prevent his side from losing their two goal lead as Lyon came from two goals behind to draw 2-2.

Sanchez Watt was an unused sub versus D&R but played the final five minutes versus Northampton as his side emerged victors,securing a 3-1 win.

Sead Hajrovic didn't make it to the Barnet's sqaud and so did Silva,Galindo and Yennaris for Alcoyano,Gimnastic and Notts County respectively.

Kyle Bartley came close to scoring for Rangers in their 3-0 victory versus Hearts but his volley was cleared off the line as Rangers emerged as comfortable victors.

Pedro Botelho started for Levante versus Sevilla but was hardly influential as his side drew 1-1 versus Sevilla.

Chuks Aneke was instrumental in Preston's equalizer against Oldham,as he came on as a substitute to play the last fifteen minutes.Rhys Murphy was an unused substitute for Preston.

Denilson's failure to secure permanent move to Sao Paulo didn't affect his temporary side's fortunes as Sao Paulo emerged 4-1 victors versus Bragantino,with Denilson playing the full game.

Lorient are currently beating Marseille 1-0, thanks to a penalty won by Joel Campbell. He hasn't been involved all that much, really, but that's a lot down to the fact that Lorient can't keep the ball in Marseille's third. He's had a couple of long shots; one went over and one went just outside the post.

Lorient won 2-1 in the end. Campbell played 81 minutes and did okay, given that Lorient were playing long and direct instead of playing balls into Campbell's feet or balls that he could run on to.

Henri Lansbury starts today for West Ham. It's the final round of games in the Championship, and in order for West Ham to be promoted they need to beat Hull and Southampton need to lose to Coventry.

So it's a big game. If West Ham fail to win, they'll still be in the play-offs against either Cardiff and 'Boro, and a possible final against the winner of Blackpool/Birmingham.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that Vito Mannone is, of course, playing for Hull.

West Ham won 2-1. Lansbury set-up the second goal with an excellent cross, and played well overall. Mannone was excellent in goal, dealing confidently with the long balls that came his way.
