'Inter & AC Milan do not see Juventus as Scudetto contenders' - Antonio Conte

The 42-year-old tactician is pleased with his squad's rate of progress and insists the competition may not be afraid now, but they will be once the ball is rolling

Juventus coach Antonio Conte believes AC Milan and Inter are not taking note of his team's potential, but insists he will carry his side forward so they can compete for the Serie A title.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's friendly against Real Betis, the former midfielder believes they can trouble their rivals through hard work across the season.

Earlier defender Leonardo Bonucci said the two Milanese clubs were title favourites, but Conte thinks his side could be in the mix for the Scudetto.

"I don't think Inter and Milan have [considered us as Scudetto rivals]," Conte told Il Corriere dello Sport.

"But this does not matter. We just know we have to work hard. Compared to the others, we are not quite there, but we can start to move forward."

The friendly against Betis takes place at the Stadio Arechi in Salerno.
