Arsenal are a small club

Wenger a month ago when Fabregas and Nasri didn't seem like leaving: “Imagine the worst situation – we lose Fabregas and Nasri – you cannot convince people you are ambitious after that. I believe for us it is important the message we give out. For example, you talk about Fabregas leaving, Nasri leaving.

Well there you go. So according to the manager himself Arsenal are now just pretending to be a big club since both Nasri and Cesc are about to leave. It's kind of the truth actually.

Don't say I said it though.

Losing two key players like that is a big blow, but no club is only about a few players, no matter how important players they are. I'm expecting Arsenal to move on rather smoothly.

Udinese, however, must be watching this transfer turmoil at Arsenal at this late date of the window with growing confidence...

Wenger's press conference yesterday (or the day before, for some people) was just a big wind-up. All of his statements were contradictory and it was just way too obvious that he was lying to the media.
