Real intent shown by Liverpool has me somewhat worried

its 16-17 mill with Ngog, if Ngog doesn't come it us 20 million. Apparently that deal is a long way off being completed. No way would we accept Ngog is worth 5 mill never mind 8.

And from someone who actually watches and knows about the kid he is a very good player. He is not a defensive MF. We have been playing him in CM due to injuries and lack of cover for that position. His best position is on the wing.

If anything he is underrated because he doesn't play for a glory boy team.
ala Josh Mceachran who is automatically amazing even though he has hardly played.

You do know McEachran is only 17 and has already made 18 first team app in his debut season for the previous League Champions even Wilshere wasn't able to do that in a much worse team. He's already got a better passing range, superior technique & awareness than all our CM's only thing he's lacking is the experience.

Put Josh any club apart from the Top 5 and he'd be getting games regularly no doubt about that. Henderson is decent and will probably go on to be a good PL player but McEachran will easily become one of the best players in the World.

And I definitely don't hype Chelsea youngsters unless you're taking the Sturridge = Pele + Maradona thing seriously.....

We have another kid at Sunderland called Billy Knott who will feature allot next season. If he makes any headlines and anyone notices him I know for a fact Chelsea fans will say "over rated, not as good as McEachran". Simply because McEachran is a Chelsea player it automatically makes him 10 times more amazing than other players.

Billy Knott is actually a product of our academy He looked very good at youth level but apparently he had a terrible attitude so was released. Heard he made your bench several times this season but wasn't able to get a look-in.

One of those players who doesn't really have a position yet.

Pretty much everything I said but the Knott > McEachran thing must have been a myth started by a Sunderland fan as I'm 100% sure Chelsea fans didn't think that. Josh was regularly training with the senior squad when he was only 15! When Scolari first joined he said that there was a 15 year old who was
at our academy that technically had nothing at all to learn and he could
be in the first team on technical merits alone and McEachran was the
boy he was referring to.

How many of those 20 appearences are starts in PL ? Only 1 isnt it ? that too in a meaningless match vs Newcastle . Hardly worth mentioning . Even in that match he was poor .

The only knowledge u have of him is his performances in Chelsea reserves and u are proclaiming him to be be one of the best players in world .

That said, I can't seem to understand this complete 360 in your opinion about Carroll. When he was at Newcastle it was 10,000 posts about how he was god. IIRC, he wanted to stay at Newcastle, but the owner wanted to sell for that price.
