How highly do you rate David Silva?

How highly do yourate David Silva? Personally I thinkhesdefinitely world class and among the top players inthe entire world. Along with Aguero and Dzeko Man Citys gonna have one of the strongest attacks in the world. I dont understand why VDB stafted other wingers over him in thr world cup such ss Navas and even Pedro, but Silva is sooooo much better than them.

I've been saying it for a while, he's the best midfielder in the EPL. He is wonderful.

As for the Spanish national team, the people you named (Pedro, Navas) are wingers and he is not. He can play on the wing but he is not a winger. He is not overly fast but is technical enough to play anywhere in the midfield.

He basically shines when he plays the Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas role and all of those players are just flat out better then him so he doesn't play all that much, it's unfortunate.

i know many do rate him highly. i really dont rate him that high. i think he's not that effective but no doubt he's talented.

he used to play LM for Valencia? (No?) he was my favourite LM in the world at that time.

absolutely brilliant. best playmaker in the epl now that fabregas has left and he's getting better and better.

The lad is an absolute gem and a joy to watch....why Chelsea didn't bother bidding for him is a mystery...I remember Gil calling him extremely overrated and poor man's Dzegaov though

Silva's class, and to think he'd get run down by the physicality in the EPL..boy was I wrong..

I think he's extremely talented but until he adds an end product to his game I won't be riding on his ****.

And he definitely isn't better than Fabregas.

He is just doing the same thing he did for Valencia he is class player though.

Brilliant player. Probably in the top 20 players in the world in my opinion. He'd be just about the first player I'd purchase at any club and was my dream purchase for Barca for many years. Best player in the EPL right now for me.

Silva, Aguero, Mata, Riena, Torres, Romeu etc..

I think Llorente & Javi Martines will do great in epl!

Pool should of got Llorente instead of Carroll in my opinion.

Llorente has the same aerial advantages, actually more, but he is far better with the ball at his feet and even would cost less.

While I agree that Llorente is the better player,

I get a feeling through even your previous posts on Carroll, that you underrate his ability with his feet.

Its just so that his aerial threat is only spoken about due to it being so dangerous as this seemingly has translated onto some of the Liverpool players who find the solution to only hoof it to Carroll when aiming for him.

The unfortunate part is that Carroll actually has tremendous skill in his feet with his touch and effective use of dribbling and ambidextrous feet.

This was realized last season yet just doesn't seem to be translating to the backline of liverpool who consistently hoof it to his ponytail.

Really? I dont think I ever even mentioned him before in terms of ability with his feet. I do think he is quite good, I just think Llorente is that much better.

I agree with what your saying, he doesnt get much credit for it. I seen him do a few surpsingly peices of skill and trickery with hit feet for Newcastle.

I just think Llorente is better in this aspect. Probably shouldnt of said far better, I think I over did it there.
