at some point he's got to change his ways or go. There will come a time that Arsenal supporters realize that ITS NOT ABOUT WHAT HE HAS DONE IN THE PAST, BUT WHAT HE'S DOING RIGHT NOW. If he cant perform his duties adequately in the current state then change needs to be made (whether its wenger being fired or him changing his ways). It's not like we dont appreciate we what he's done for arsenal and what means to the club. If we are going to have a standard of excellence at arsenal then it should be upheld at ALL COSTS. at some point there has to be some accountability and we're just getting closer and closer to that point. If Arsenal doesn't demand excellence then we wont get it. It's as simple as that.

But say you fire Wenger tomorrow...who do you hire that is an upgrade to him?

The last thing you need is to pull a Liverpool.... fire your manager overly quickly, replace him with someone inadequate, and then find yourself wishing you had the original guy back..

If Villas-Boas was on the market then maybe you fire Wenger if nothing improves by Christmas....but he's not on the market, and I don't really see who you can hire that would be an improvement

We are in big trouble, the game could have been worse, the way it was going we all could feel more goals was coming.

We can make excuse that we were missing players, its the boards job to bring in players, so we dont have to go through this.

I am just wondering, if this was any other big club losing like this, would the manager we there the next day? I am not trying to say we should get rid of wenger or anything, I really felt sick for him, just wondering.

We are not in a position where we can fire him, we don't know what the board is doing, Wenger might be stubborn but the board is at fault here.

I agree with bhends there. Media made any thing bar Rafa when it came to us 1.5 years ago and exaggerated Hodgson's ability to Sacchi's level, and we all know how that turned out.

I see some Arsenal fans asking for likes of MON, or Moyes....wake up guys, those are utterly mediocre managers who'll run you to mid-table mediocrity. If Wenger is to be replaced, it has to be either a young and up and coming talent, or a proven manager with track record of winning stuff.

the team that competed today would be lucky to be mid table at the end of the year. If everyone comes back healthy, at best I think we are looking at 5th place and the likelihood of additional injuries is high. So where are we now?
