Angel Torres Getafe's president is bored too

"Barcelona play from memory, and continue to do so even after five years, but there are many people who will start to get bored [of their football]," the supremo told a television show on Onda Cero.

He continued: "It is true that their cycle is going well, and they have made fools out of [Real] Madrid, but I think this is the year when Madrid begin to displace them.

However, Torres also reckons that Madrid's success will eventually boil down to their greater strength-in-depth, and possession of a more versatile game.

"Real Madrid has more physical potential this season," he concluded. "They play a very direct style of football, which is also very good on a technical level."

Love the way he talks about Madrid, nobody can reject a good direct football, the brand of Madrid along history.

Yes sure !! but i think any admirer of good football can stick around bored watching Barça passes from side to another without any strike for 2 or 3 min !! I have many friends of mine who are EPL fans and they are always complaining cules football, especially when it comes to play small teams. I think that everyone who wants to chill out with a match he can't reject a direct football on a good technical level. (For that reason the Bundesliga is being more and more intersting)

I agree with that. A football match is more entertaining if there are more shots/attacks etc.

Mind you I think we starve other teams of possession as well. Maybe not as much as Barcelona but some of our games aren't exactly that exciting either.

At the end of the day though I agree with you (And good Ol' Angel Torres )
