Re: Pato vs Balotelli
Fab let's face it, your dislike towards Balotelli is just bias on this topic.

Why can't we just say they are both great, young players?

So Mario Ballotelli is subordinate to Alexandre Pato because of his attitude problem ?
That, Sir, is absurd.

Since we are discussing this, Mario Balotelli is definitively better than Alexandre Pato.

Re: Pato vs Balotelli
Lets be honest here.
Milanisti favor Pato.
Those who already hate Balotelli will still go against him nonetheless.
Everyone else, favor Balotelli.

Stop rewriting the thread in favour of your absolute answer.
Magricos, Mole, RG, Fool, Jewel and Julias have all mirrored the three different opinions from Milan fans in this thread, namely that they are both equal, that Balotelli probably has a higher ceiling or that Pato probably has a higher ceiling. There is no one response from the Milan section and there is no one response from the general section.
No one has tried to discredit your opinion on the basis that you hate Milan, so stop trying to discredit others for their personal opinions.

Re: Pato vs Balotelli
Exactly, no one has tried to make your hate for Milan relevant, so stop complaining about how people are only making up their minds because they "hate" Balotelli.

Re: Pato vs Balotelli
Ahh another Pato vs someone thread , gosh i sure just love having to defend Pato every single 2 months, first it was Balo vs Pato 2/3 years ago, then Higgy , then Benz , then Sturridge ( more for the lulz tbh ) and now finally back to where it all began.
Recapping all of that im pretty sure Pato won all those "polls" and so by sheer democratic values, Pato is regarded as the best young striker in the world...... on GL forums.
Although i love full homo Balo, i would take Pato. On a talent scale Balo would edge it but when measuring who seems more determined, focused and matured , that Pato has over Balo. in spades.
This is no more better emphasized when people compared Quaresma and Cristiano Ronaldo, all believed/noted that Quaresma was the more talented of the two and that he would be the better player as they develop, but it did not turn out that way now did it, Cristiano may have been less talented but was much much more driven and work/trained relentlessly for years to get the the lvl he is and do his talent justice.
This sort of mentality i see very clearly in Pato, who acknowledges that he needs to work hard everyday do be able to get the the lvl he wants to be at one day. Its the same mentality that all the best players in the world have, because it is a prerequisite if you want to be at the top of the footballing world.
This is what i do not see Balo doing/acknowledging anytime soon, talent is not enough, you have to hone it to perfection, how many times do we see Balo pull of an amazing shot that requires a high lvl of skill and technique and then the next day get it completely wrong, an example of this is were he scored that side foot goal against Man u and then the next game he tried the exact same thing but he got it completely wrong, obviously he has the talent to pull it off more than once but he lacks the consistency because he doesn't train hard enough.
Tbh i don't really care who is better because sooner of later both will be in a Rossoneri Shirt in a few seasons time
