Teixera banned from officiating Madrid

It's on Cope, Teixera who was the referee during the last clasico, has been banned from officiating madrid again this season.

Before the thread turns into Refcelona cheat and what not, i think it's a great decision from the Referees Technical Comity, since the refereeing was particularly poor during the game. It also suggests that he was incredibly biased against Real Madrid in his officiating, but im not calling refcelona, as i judge him to be independent of barca obviously. There is a strong pro barcelona sentiment in Spain, and some referees seriously cant stay professional and let their emotions do the officiating.

Teixeira was caught smiling when Barca opened the score and also had an argument with players in the change room. Mou was quoted saying to him "How do you like to f**k with Professionals?".

The duration of his ban is indefinite. Real Madrid never suggested that he should be banned, it's a decision that the comity came up with on their own.

Not because I doubt how legit it is, but to be banned you would expect some kind of a statement.

Dont see anything decision based which means he should be banned to be frank though. He made some bad calls and some correct ones...I have seen far worse officating this season alone if we talking about just decisions.

Behind closed doors maybe, as with all things. But officially, Real Madrid never made a comment suggesting that they should ban him. Guy was seriously horrendous

The ref was beyond horrific, but of course the Barca fans are always gonna be happy with his performance lol.

Now, before we jump on the whole train of the usual banter, please realise that he was banned from Real Madrid matches and not banned from refereeing on a whole.

Yeh because it is only the first time Real have been owned by the ref right? and as soon as that happened the ref gets banned......lol we don't even know if it is official yet.

Ref makes a couple normal mistakes because it's Barca Madrid people go absolutely crazy over them.

For them to reach a decision like that, i think it's fairly serious

Are they saying he is bias against Madrid? If so, he isnt fit to ref any game...what kind of ref is that?

Rember Turienza Alvarez the douche bag who officiated us against Racing a couple of years back.... he wasnt banned from refereeing us but he was sent down to segunda....
