Stephen Ireland has 3 goals in less games than Carroll against the top 15 in the league over a period of 9 months

Just thought I'd throw that out

That doesn't even justify a little bit of it, as his contributions helped us reach two finals, one of which we won. Molenation

I still think Giroud gets too much stick. Sure, he's not producing at the levels of Suarez, Costa, Ronaldo, etc but he's having a solid season overall and he's pulling in solid numbers with what, 15 goals and 8 or 9 assists in all competitions? Not every player can score a goal a match. Arsenal have just been lacking production from other attackers with Walcott and Ramsey out. Without a real second option at CF (Bendy and Sanogo aren't really in the reckoning) Arsenal required their attacking mids and wide attackers to really chip in and unfortunately they haven't been able to do so, in part due to injuries and in part due to inconsistent form.

We need to banish vermaelen and this scrub to a deserted island somewhere

It would be immoral to dump their level of shittyness onto another team

this guy is prob the worst striker in the epl, think about all the strikers in epl, from bony to jay Rodriguez, playing for midtable bottom of the table teams.altitore would score about the same amount as goals as giroud if he was playing for us.

Completely useless in the big matches. It's like Arsenal are playing with 10 men and no striker, that's how little his contribution is.

Is hat a surprise ?

Since the day Wenger brought him to replace (  ) RVP i jnew that against big teams we were scr**d.
Don't buy a mid-table striker and expect him to tear apart the top 4 of the league.

It depends where the hat is, I suppose. The last time a chick saw I had put a hat on my helmet, she certainly looked surprised.

Sorry, that was an awful one.

As for Giroud, he's simply not good enough to play in tough games. Should be good for rotation, though, if he doesn't go full-time modelling.

It's either Giroud or Arteta. It's Giroud's turn today, I think it was Arteta vs Chelsea.

Because they are the two players that are playing poorly consistently, with a half decent striker we would be more of a goal threat, which means our whole team will gain confidence and play better. i would be so demoralized if i was an attacking midfielder and your striker was making no effort to create space, its hard, how do you create? how do you do your job?

nobody is just blaming giroud/arteta, today we all know verm/monreal/cazorla were poor aswell.

but when some players consistently dont do their jobs, it effects the whole teams confidence, thats why we are blaming these players MJ/farfan.

Actually no. Monaco play a counter attack style and use 2 strikers (2 of Berbatov, Carrasco and Martial). They need you to be either technical or fast or both... slow target guys would be useless.

Give me a break, Giroud should have had a hat trick, our attack was entirely disjointed, it really didn't matter in the end how slow he was.

He just had an off day and was piss poor like the rest of the team, these threads getting bumped on one off game after two months of great play is pretty funny though, even if it is by a troll.
