Benfica close to signing Jesé
Record claims that negotiations between the two clubs are at an advanced stage after Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira flew to the Spanish capital last week.
His contract with Madrid expires at the end of the season, but Benfica have decided to negotiate with the Primera Division leaders anyway, given the good relationship between the two clubs.

Can we loan him? Or resign and sell with buy back? Either way he's not going to get significant first team minutes with us anytime soon.

Re: Benfica close to signing Jesé
Let me ask this question, was he really ever destined to be a starter with Real Madrid?
Don't get me wrong, I love the kid's abilities and am all for his development within the club, however is he really the best young talented winger out there? Is he better than the likes of Neymar, Hazard and Lucas? Is he destined to be a starter in Real Madrid when he grows up, knowing the fact that this club is only interested in the best of the best when it comes to its starting 11?
Some serious questions to be answered. Again, I am all for developing the kid and giving him a chance, but am against irrational thinking driven by emotions at the same time.

Sell him with a buy-back clause. It's only good for him if he goes to Benfica.

He can be an excellent backup/rotation winger for madrid in the future. sell with a buy back clause, though i would perfer for him to have a full season with castilla in suganda league, and then he will be able to make the switch.

Of all our attackers in Castilla, Jese is the one with most chance to get into the first team. He has his path basically cut out.
