Bosh or no Bosh, if Granger is going to shoot 1 for 10 the Pacers have little chance lol

LA and OKC, going to be a good series im sure. Various battles going on.

Kobe and Durant, the former shooting just 30% this season vs OKC while Durant shot 40%. Neither dominate, but whoever can get to their usual output will surely give a advantage.

Then you got the bigs, Hill, Gasol and Bynum vs Perkins, Ibaka and Collison is surprisingly even, despite the fact OKC get very little offensive out of them. OKC slowing the LA bigs would be huge, meanwhile both Pau and Bynum have the habit of giving up easy points. If the OKC bigmen can steal 15-20 points it could be the difference.

Then you got Artest coming back and always showing up in big games, on both ends. Not to mention the return of James Harden.

The challange of Westbrook vs himself and if he can control himself.

Finally, Fisher who knows LA inside out and surely provide some kind of info.

Should be a great series.

I'm pessimistic......

Durant, he's the best player in the game but he doesn't put fear in my heart like Westbrook does.Westbrook....unless it's Kobe defending him full court....gets going and he just doesn't stop.

Too much energy too quick , and once the midrange J starts flowing game over usually.

Thing about him is you gotta nip it in the bud, Bynum has to get blocks crowd the lane, stop him from getting layups and defend him because we just cannot win.

What Ty Lawson did to us.....this could be much much worse.

Just showed it on SC. Asked Kobe if he wants to guard Westbrook, he replied with, "Yeah, I'll take that matchup." Reporter tells Kobe that Westbrook said, "He's as big as Kobe 6'4-6'5." And Kobe responds with, "No(laughs), No he's a little guy."

Westbrook's own stupidity might cost him and OKC more than anything.

I can see this fool making it into a personal duel to show he can score on Kobe..leading to ill advised shots, turnovers ect.

Trying to outgun Kobe visably is stupid, if you light a fire under him, he will crush you..even Durant and Bron would get crushed if they dare tried to openly show him up.

Westbrook needs Fish in his ear.

Westbrook shouldn't scare anyone more than Durant... he's just as likely to shoot you out of a game as he is to win it for you.

Both teams are going to be fodder for the Spurs though. Unless CP3 pulls out another goat series performance :bow:

I agree....didn't think of it that way.

But I could see Kobe getting torched by the 3rd quarter of every game as well....I know the guy, he plays non mobile help defense for the best par of 40 minutes almost every non playoff game.

Going from that to guarding Westbrook.....which he will try to do full court.....it's not human level with this guy.He might be the most relentlessly fit Baller I've ever seen, he's like a strong black version of Di Maria.

But wait......Durant is going to try to outgun Kobe I guarantee it :vagi:

Nah, he is going to play his normal game.

He is a scorer and will take alot of shots, but he very rarely takes bad shots, which is rare for such a scorer.

He wont try and over do it, he got a very cool head on his shoulders. I mean, he has to, if he didnt, he would of wanted to kill Westbrook..I can think of quite a few players who would have by now.

If Igouadala was a 4th option, maybe 3rd on offence..boy he would be great. Defensively he is scary...but he really needs scorers around him.

Defensively the Sixers are very good, Holisay is excellent, obviously so is Iggy..but Brand and even Hawes are really get into it.

Hollins doing an excellent job defensively for the Celtics I should add, great positional defence.

I am not, but still.

Artest offence is linked to his defence, it always has been. So, he defends better when he is involved in the offence. Been like that even as far back as Chicago.

Iggy in the Iverson days wasnt a scorer, only scored on the fastbreak and cuts Iverson made for him. Wasnt ever 2nd option, or even 3rd option in that sense.

But he made his mark defensively and was magic on that end.

Also unlike Artest, the less he shoots the better he plays. He is still a very good passer.

Artest is the other way, the more he shoots the better he becomes generally.
