Villarreal scrapped a win against Xerez 3-2.
Seems like the second spot is now only between Villarreal, Almeria, and Girona. Alcorcon have a faint chance at second but seems very unlikely.

Next matchday is very interesting because Almeria and Girona have to face each other.

Charles saved Almeria's ass with a 90 minute goal to win the game 2-1 Girona. Villarreal destroyed Barca B away 0-3. And Castilla destroyed Alcorcon 4-0. :bow:

Anyways 2nd is now between only Almeria and Villarreal.
They face each other on the last day at El Madrigal.

First match between them in Andalusia ended Almeria 1-1 Villarreal.

Now a win for either Villarreal or Almeria will see that team clinch direct promotion.

I said it for many years, Madrid's youth team has a long history of bettering Barcelona's. It is just that Madrid never give opportunities to their kids to instead make galáctico signings.
