 after watching that friendly game i am in favor of Gervinho move , our attack is too static and gervinho had a bad season at Arsenal that will cut his price and knowing garcia and playing best part of his career under his management can actually work out well . I also want to note that if they trust the new manager and he really want to keep osvaldo they should do so otherwise after the first loss and fans chanting he will be gone just like Enrique and zeman

Shocking stuff about Castan...Garcia doesn't rate him at all apparently. I thought he did quite well last season. Not great, but pretty good. Guess he's not what Garcia needs in his defense though.

What? Why? Who? 18 mil for a striker that has scored 10 goals in 68 games for Atletico?

Also, the rumours about Tottenham and Lamela are worrying..

If our management is actually considering any kind of offer for Lamela then this project is officially a joke and is not a project at all. Selling an 18 year old CB with one year in Europe for 30 Mil is understandable, but to even slightly entertain a 35 Mil offer for dare I say our most important player last season (aside from il capitano) is absurd. Lamela has is one of the brightest prospects in Europe right now. If we sell him then this management does not give a damn about this teams success.

Who else with his skill ability would even consider coming to Roma when we are not even present in Europe. We would have to splash most (if not all) of that cash to bring in someone even remotely close to Lamela. Even then chances are they will not be proven in anyway in Serie A.

I really hope this is just the B/S English tabloids spawning these rumors.

If we sell Lamela then this project is quite done. He must stay.
We might get rid of Osvaldo and sign Leandro Paredes for example. Also offload Boriello. There was a rumor that Roma wants to sell DDR to get his 6m wages of the wage budget.. ffs.. sell / release Boriello and fix the wage budget with that..
