Hoping Tite gets fired soon. that 4-0 loss to Portuguesa is the tip of the iceberg for me.

Diego Costa has chosen Spain...

Felipao dropped the ball here by picking the likes of Jo and Pato.. two flops on their respective teams to say the least.

Also theres reports that Marquinhos is infact of Portuguese origins.. his dad is Afro-Portuguese, which now officially makes our brightest CB prospect available for O Seleccao Luso.

Hopefully Felipao stop getting on his knees for his boy toy Henrique and calls-up Marquinhos so that we wont have the same problem as we just had with Diego Costa.

He didn't really choose Spain. He already played for us in two friendlies but I guess he got impatient with Felipao.

On the one hand it was a mistake by Felipao considering our shortage of CFs, but on the other hand Diego Costa is one of the biggest assholes in football.

It's kind of embarrassing for Spain though.

idk why Spain needs him.. Soldado, Negredo, Villa... do they not have a goal scorer already? smh

Year of tiki-taka has brought them to this.. naturalizing a Brazilian... again. Marcos Senna.

btw Diego Costa's paperwork wasn't done in time, so he will not join up with the Spanish NT until November I assume.

Which means he won't be able to get captied till the World Cup since this month is the last month of WCQ in Europe for Spain since they lead their group. So no play-offs for them.

Marquinhos would be a huge loss. He has huge potential.

But what can CBF do about it? I mean Diego Costa played a friendly for us six months ago! Is Felipao supposed to call every single promising player from Brasil telling them they have a future with our national team?

The fact that we're even discussing this is asinine. Diego Costa and Spain are the ones making a mockery of the international game. CBF is incompetent and corrupt, we all know that, but I don't think they're at fault here.

last month.. but this speculation has begun as late as last week. Who knows.. maybe he is contemplating it knowing he might get snubbed again like Diego Costa in favour of shite players like Henrique and a Rever type.

Yes, how can I not fault our national coach for not calling up the best Brazilian striker on planet earth after Fred in favor of Jo and Pato.

It also sucks that Brazil doesn't play any cap-tieing matches every month like Spain does due to them having to Qualify for the World Cup.. and well Brazil being hosts. Those friendlies should count as equivalents to WCQs which means ultimately, Diego Costa would be and should be captied to Brazil.

Hey, I agree with you. Douche bag Diego Costa should be given a chance ahead of Pato and Jo. However, he already played for us just six months ago. And his stock only went up recently because of the amazing start of the season he's been having. Before that, he had a good season but nowhere near the level he's playing at today. Nobody was asking for him. We've only played two friendlies since the start of the European season. You don't think he would have gotten a proper chance if he kept this up?

And I also agree with you about our lack of official matches. If we weren't hosting the WC this discussion wouldn't even be taking place.

Agree Luiz has been great though that header was risky.

What makes Brazil one of the favourites for the World Cup is home. Lost to Switzerland and struggling against Korea away when they dominated Spain and Italy in their home.
