Breakout player of the season

The season is still young but we're almost at the holiday break so why not take a look at the players who have broken out in the last few months as stars. I'll start with the 8 that mostly come to mind (IMO) from both club and country and of course feel free to post whoever else should be included (especially our Bundesliga and Ligue 1 fanatics).

As far as criteria its a bit subjective but i'm trying to include those players who were still good last season but were not rated as highly as they are now this time last year. And thats because theyve either improved or are on their way to fulfilling their great potential. Some have had more minutes than others so I tried to include those who have made the most of their few munutes as well. So here's my first 8:

Stephan El Sharaawy - Milan and Italy
James Rodriguez - FC Porto and Colombia
Jackson Martinez - FC Porto and Colombia
Michu - Swansea City
Juan Cuadrado - Fiorentina and Colombia
Oscar - Chelsea and Brazil
Benat - Real Betis and Spain
Marc Bartra - Barcelona

Cuadrado is Fiorentina and Colombia

im going to be biased this time and vote for el sharawwy because he is the only stand out performer week in week out in our team (well can be said about montolivo and bojan too) but el sharawwy is the youngest player of our squad but single hand carrying the team...

and i really like michu, and oscar too... they have impressed me massively!

isco from malaga also deserves the mention... raheem sterling of liverpool, i havent watched football as much this season so i simply couldnt think of anyone atm...

not sure if castro fits in tbh the dude is rediscovering him self

Vertoghen performances this season in the PL seem to be matching the potential and talent people were proclaiming about... MOTM at the back every single game...

Raheem Sterling

This poll is missing a Sterling.
Easily the break out player.

Suso comes to my mind next.

1. Lamela - Argentina, Roma
2. Kacaniklic - Sweden, Fulham

Bartra needs more time before he can be called a "breakout".
Michu shouldn't be there at all because he was great last season.
Same could be said about Cuadrado, who was already pretty good last season.

I agree that Lamela should be there, Isco too, although he was already good last season (not as much as now) and maybe Tello.

I havne't seen Sterling play, but his head is just funny.

Someone should free Breno from prison, then he would be the top breakout player of the season

I guess you have to regularly watch Arsenal to know how much of an improvement carl Jenkinson has made from last year. From the list I am going to pick El Sharaawy I suppose.

lol at there not being Carvajal in there, voted as best RB 4 weeks in a row in BL(make it 5 with this round as well) and already has 4 assists to his name, he has taken that league by storm, Bartra hasn't even played much lmao

But for me it has to be Kacaniclic because he is swedish

Michu, Benat and Isco were great last year.

My choice is El Sharaawy . What he's been doing is fascinating , carrying a team like Milan on his shoulders to the point he's the top scorer , the way he's playing.. it's amazing , considering his age , not even Ibrahimovic had such a start to the season and we had a better team in those two years.

Of course , i get it.

But it wasn't only Ibrahimovic. We were collectively better than what we currently are , on all fronts . I think it doesn't need any analysis .
