This match is going to be tough but I predict a narrow win for Real Madrid with both sides scoring and a scored draw in the second leg. This is my predicted 11 to start the match.

and maybe move arbeloa to the left and put essien as a rb (take it easy, just an opinion)
cause i think marcelo is not ready just yet

I think form kinda goes out the window when it comes to big games. With Ozil and Modric, we should be able to retain the ball better vs Barca. Also Barca aren't the best defensively this season.

I expect him to play, he played with a shoulder injury last time. but he has to be cautious not to aggrivate the injury further

would like the first selection, but i think the second one would be make more sense.

seeing that we have so many injuries and suspensions.

essien has been great at right back in the last few game and i just prefer carvalho over albiol. albiol gets turned too easily, i cant count on him. At least carvalho has a better defensive brain - experience.

i couldnt see the game at that time, and im talking about the 5-0 defeat at camp nou, can anyone tell me what our back 4 was ?
i think carvalho and/or albiol played but im not sure

i very much trust our attack this time and we will take our chances, but im really worried about the defence, dont know what to expect..

Anyways, rather than being random and saying we are doomed, we must support our Team! i think we will approach this well... i am sure Khedira, modric and Ozil will turn up... and Varane will cover Albiol's mistakes.

Furthermore, we have home advantage, and barcelona has not kept a single clean sheet in a very long time..

I am not a fan of carvalhi. I want him as far away from our starting line up ss possibly, preferably in the stands but seeing as albiol was subbed out last game I think we can safely assume albiol will start. as for that left back position I am not entirely sure, Mou didn't play him even when cacktrao was away and he only has 45 min since coming back from inuury. if this is Mou's way of resting him then :facepalm:

I think calegoat will start in place of dimaria since he is the closest we have to dimaria defensively and coupled with how average arbeloa is, callegoat will be very busy

our formation will be the same I think with benz starting up top. I haven't been entirely satisfied with him this season neither with higgy for that matter. I just tjink we create more chances with higgy than benz due to his runs behind their defence. if he actually took his chances we would probably be 3-0 up after 5 mins. Anyhow most of our players got some sort of rest they have no excuses for Wednesday.
