So, it's been a while since we've beaten them at the DW.

No Hendo, Sturridge will have a late fitness test but won't start according to bib theory. Enrique and Carra are probably the two at the back but I didn't spot them in the photos.

I think it'll be tough but we're gonna make it happen. I saw a great graphic that pointed out the flipside to the top-10 stat: we have only dropped points three times against the bottom 10. Loss to Aston Villa, draws to Newcastle and Sunderland. That's a pretty incredible record.

Haven't won at the DW since 2007-08 season. Hopefully Rodgers is the lucky charm

Also it seems like my lineup looks more likely by the hour barring any last minute surprises.

What happened to Sturridge! He didn't play in our last game (Zenith) so when did he get injured!

Enrique will be missed.

We had a 10-day break so squad will be fresh. It's going to be tough but we should (must) win. Go Reds.

As you can see my my line up could potentially be spot on. Orange bibs to start. Sturridge wasn't even training with the team. Doesn't look likely he'll travel.

Wigan have won just two times at home this season, so a defeat would be a major disappointment. A draw wouldn't surprise me, but I still think we're favorites to win this one.

If they're just fit, I think Skrtel & Agger should start.

i have missed many updates during past few days...lucky dt just got free before today's game.
I guess it will be 400th EPL game for gerrard, so it will be nice to make a note of it with a win.
I read the stats that we have best record after ManU against the lower places teams, so I am hoping that we will this one, it may be a tight one.
Just concerned, their extra man in the midfield, whether it will have any effect on our game. I guess, if they dont play long balls like stoke or some other teams, it will be hard to beat us in passing game
after all BR will prove why he was selected ahead of martinez for LFC job

Really hoping to see some more nice interplay between Suarez and Coutinho today.

Also, it might be nice to see Skrtel get into the squad. I know Carragher will be preferred in the "big matches" (it could be argued that all league matches are "big matches" at the moment) for his organizational ability. However, if Skrtel is to have a future at the club, he eventually needs to get a chance to reintegrate into the squad...

If we lose this game i might just hang myself. Nothing indicates we will, even with no sturridge, were a greater team then wigan by far. I'm excited to see LS and PC combine, i think they can form a great understanding together.

Any thoughts on the squad or line up, id rather see assadi then downing TBH.

i hope when we are in comfortable position to win this game, he gets sme time on the pitch

Reina had some great saves, Downing scored , Suarez with a double, Coutinho with two great assists, Just 5 more please.

Great to see us putting away our chances. Wigan have had chances of their own, but Reina is having a good game. Wigan look shaky in defence every time we get some controlled possession in the final third and Coutinho has been a pleasure to watch, he brings some groove into the side. Hopefully he gets a hat-trick of assists!

BR,bring on suso or assaidi pls...

Great performance looked flat in the end, looked like the guys gave up a bit, subs would of added more life to the game, absolutely livid BR decided not to use the 2 other subs and give the other boys a run considering we were up 4-0, other then that disappointment, good game.

FT 4 - 0 to us.

It's a bit of a weird 4 - 0 win, because the team that scored nil actually had more attempts to score than us. As a team we were better only in defence, not in midfield or attack where it was pretty even flow back and forth between the teams, but we got the individual moments of sparkling quality that earned us the goals.

Reina had a good game and great to see Suarez with a hat-trick that puts him on top of the league's goal-scoring chart after 28 rounds. Those two were our best players today, imo, with Coutinho and maybe Carragher coming next.
