Bump for tonights deciding matches.

News is Parker won't be risked tonight.... if i lose this it would be the biggest choke job since Knicks against Pacers and Reggie Miller.

Amar, how are you on time? It seems there have been a few nights where you have not changed your line up. Is this a temporary thing, or do you not have enough time to continue managing your team?

Not sure if serious...joke league is a joke, we clearly have the same record. I'm curious to know if there is a tiebreaker or what decides league placement when records are the same.

The last two weeks have been really disappointing to me.

Two weeks in a row i go into Saturday's games with a 7-2 lead and two weeks in a row i f*ck it up Laughing

Oh well at least i won this week instead of a 4-4 Laughing

I'm happy with how i have built my team since Christmas though, its as balanced as its ever been and each matchup has been very competitive.

Even against Dani i only lost by two boards and i only really lost that because Boozer got sick on sunday Mad

Having said that i expect to lose this week, as long as its not by too much i'll be satisfied though.

I've learned that 7-2 leads can be quite deceiving. I still have mixed feelings about my team, but that could be because some of you guys are ballin'! Dani had 300+ rebounds this week...how am I supposed to compete with that?

I have come to the conclusion that loading up on bigmen can help.

I got 7 PF/C's and that generally means advantages in rebounds, blocks, FG% and if you dont have Howard, lower turnovers.

Obviously, FT% can take a hit but I got guys like Hawes, Dirk, Ibaka and Griffin has improved alot.

I was going through rosters the other week and seeing how many players each manager had at each position. Another question: how is everyone feeling as far as playing again next season?

I am obviously up for playing again next season (as im winning) but obviously I would agree if someone said we need to sort out the players who are actually signed up and will take care of their team.

Completely agree, Dani. Where do you guys stand on recruiting? I think it would be more fun with forum members, but I prefer having active members over anything. I am all for reliable friends (even better if they're willing to sign up to the forum Thumbs up)

I am also open to moving Leonard if anyone was interested.

Yeah pretty much, wouldnt be the same competing against strangers. But reliable friends is cool with me to make up with the numbers...not that I know anyone trustworthy enough for this Laughing

I'll pass on Jennings and Leonard for the time being, too much roster upheaval for my liking recently. Need to roll with these group for a bit and see who loses my trust.

I usually dont win assists, probably a by product of so many bigmen on my roster. Even with Wall and Curry, two of the best in the game.

I am sort of banking on Rondo to help me with that though.

Was hoping at one point this week i would beat Dani's total of 320 something boards from the other week but some injuries prevented it.

Oh well i'll take the W and now above 500 for first time in ages

4 wins, 1 tie and 1 loss in last 6 weeks is a nice improvement, hopefully i can take that into the last round of matches to end with a more favorable seed before the playoffs.

Discuss your matchups this week Thumbs up

Bit boring as Amar seems to not be playing anymore. I won 9-1 Laughing

Only thing I lost was turnovers, because he had less players playing.

On the bright side, Rondo is back

Winning 9-1 from 9 categories hmm

What a week

My highest performing player this week was Dragic by far.

Bit disappointed in PG this week though.

Excuse him Mole, dude is not getting any younger. Also, thank you for trying to bring this thread back to life...I wish we were a little more vocal about the league (whether it be trash talk, or just discussing how match ups are going.) I'll look to stay active in the thread this week if I'm playing an active manager.
