Pity it didn't work out. But you definitely earned a lot of respect in this World Cup.

It's just a pity that people in the Iran can't properly celebrate the World Cup with others without the guardians of public morals breathing down their necks - I just read in a German newspaper that there were some people arrested for publishing a video of them watching football together at home with some women who didn't wear a veil - and that was already enough to throw them into prison :facepalm:

Yea, Iran definitely deserves a lot of respect.

Iran were never going to recover from a goal down. Their strength lies in defence and winning by small margin. But Dzeko ruined that.

Still though, they performed very well.

Hope to see them again in the next WC Thumbs up

Yep he's the main striker despite being 21yo, has a lot of good years ahead of him. should stop being so selfish though, wasted a couple of chances today by refusing to pass.

He has some disciplinary issues which i hope will get better as he matures.

Apparently he had offer from Everton last summer but decided to stay in Russia, if you're asking me he's wasting his talent there, it's a hell hole for young players.

Agreed, at this point he should stop wasting his time in Russia and take whatever offer he has and move from there, he might not attract top clubs anymore if he become older.

Rostov is in champions league though so at least he gets to experience top level football.
