But he was absolutely unguardable, they couldn't do nothing with him.

A little late, but why do they send scrub teams like the Hawks to London?

They should send Miami and OKC over there

Yeah we talked about that briefly in chat, not going to win fans showing them those guys.

That being said, I noticed it was a really high scoring game.

Yeah it was but they should put out their best product.. It seems like every year there's a scrub team, or both teams are scrubs

If that's your prerogative then you are entitled to it, i have noticed several big improvements to his game this year though and unlike Dwight Howard actually looks to improve his game year on year.

Just out of curiosity though what would he have to do in the post season for you to not be a hater

Have to admit he has improved his game though, no question.

He is shooting the jumper more accurately and from more distance, handling the ball much better, rebounding the ball at a higher rate and improved from the FT line.

Defence is still spotty and his post footwork still shaky but I like the improvement after 3 seasons without progress.

He's improved, no doubt. Jumpshot looks a lot better, still grabbing the boards (at a higher rate?).

His defence, especially in the post is all over the place sometimes.
The footwork has definitely gotten better, but I still see a severe lack of skills in the post when he has the ball. It's almost Dwight like, gets the ball down low and his arms are swinging all over the place, the better PFs in the league will draw 1-2 (maybe even 3) offensive fouls on him in the post season.

But he's gotten better, unlike Dwight.

The guy is a 7 footer who can put the ball on the floor anywhere on the court, is a top 5 shooter in the league as well as being the best all around offensive player.

Unguardable doesn't do him justice.

I agree on his defense btw Izzy but i feel that it doesn't matter so much with DeAndre playing how he is.... not an excuse btw he should still look to improve it but i don't think its something that will kill their post season chances.

As for his skill in the post, i think its something else which has improved still not where i'd like it to be but its sufficient to get work done.

I agree he still needs to improve it to be up there with the truly best PF's in the game skill wise but i don't think its anywhere near as robotic as Dwight's for example.... he's no Boogie, Love, Duncan etc etc but its not completely robotic either.

They pick teams but they can't force them, and most good teams don't want to give up a home game. That was a home game for the Hawks. And I know in the NFL there's a few teams with stadiums that have leases stating home games must be played there.

The stadium leasing part makes sense and would be acceptable.. But the not giving up a home game shit is a bitch move to be honest, its their duty to do whats best for the NBA, and growing the game internationally is good for the league

Just finished watching Clippers and Pistons.... god lawd what has Doc turned DeAndre Jordan into.   

He's up from 8.8 PPG last season to 9.5 this year, 1.4 BPG to 2.5 and most impressively 7.2 RPG up to 13.5.

As for tonight he scored 16 (8-11), 21 boards and 4 blocks.

Yeah, most certainly improved. His actual defence isnt better in my opinion, he still gets beaten fairly easily on post ups and face ups and he goes for every single block and therefore leaves people free but no question he has improved in terms of rebounding and establishing good post position.
