What an exeptional caracter and glorious career. But im still thinking he could do a lot better with the Juve #10 if he would just shooooot all the time especially from the odd angle. I have always loved this guy as a footballer as he is truly unique and that workrate he had at United was mindblowing but i cant help feeling a little disappointed from his 2 seasons with Juve . . . But i guess thats what you get when you put peapole on a pidestal.

not sure if serious, the guy is 31, and is still doing things no striker we have had post del Piero and Trezeguet have been able to do.....

am not sure what else you expect from him.....

Why so impressed when last year Ciro had 2 more goals in the league for torino and he played for a team that beat the points record this year Toni has 11 goals and hes 37 ffs. I can only be satisfied if has at least 25 + goals a season even icardi crap will beat him this year. I still like him and think he is doing fine but im not over top for his performances like everybody else seem to be.

His main role isn't to score only... You see that he tracks back very often with this new maxi juve... You can't deny that. He is no CR or messi, cuz his role is simply different, so its an achievement for him to be top scorer. Icarsidi, immobile, toni, quagliarella, higuain, Dybala play mainly as ST and do not track back as you see with tevez, who is more of a pure #10, ADP type of player, a creator attacker, SS

The thing is Tevez insists on being pure striker when obviously he is not that type of player. as u point out he is a numbr ten playing slightly behind a goal getter but in Juve he insits on being the goal machine that he is not. I dont see him striking any fear into defenders as Morata could easily do if he were getting the same minutes at least next season.

And whats all the hype of getting a world class striker when everybody is content with Tevez. We have Matri who can take over. Tracking back is no excuse.

I think so too, and boy im in love with marrota if he does sign this 25+ goal machine just hope Tevez will play behind him and Morata as that would be a treat of season.

I won't be happy if we do tbh. He has done nothing apecial with United and doesn't deserve the wages he receives with his performance right now.

If we do sign him we'll probably get a lower fee and he'll probably lower his wages too. But where would he play? Would we put Tevez in the trequartista role and Falcao and Morata as the strikers? Anyways, I would take Falcao, but the problem is he's getting old (he's turning 30 next year) and he just came back from an injury which seems to maybe have affected him. I'd probably take Cavani over him because of the age difference, but I wouldn't mind signing Falcao. I would also look for a good young striker, but if not, again, Falcao was world class before his injury, and might be able to get back to the form he had before his injury. Any idea how much he would cost?

Nope he never got a fair chance. A player like him coiming out of that injury needs playing time.

He played 15-20 games and just scored 4 or 5. Really bad statistics for a player like him. Similar situation as torres IMO

what like 5? A player like him needs more time take Arturo for example he is playing almost every match and he is not yet up to the task.

Well if he wasn't up to task in these 5 games that he started at, then he must be dropped. 1 goal every 5 matches is not enough for a player like him tbh...

We are speaking about a player who's coming out of nasty injury including his knee ofc its enough. As I said take Vidal as example and you'll get the point.

Report: Tevez has Boca agreement

There are reports that Juventus striker Carlos Tevez has already agreed a deal with Boca Juniors for the end of this season.

It’s widely believed that the Argentinian international will return to his first club when his Juventus deal expires in 2016.

Calciomercato reports, however, that Tevez has already reached an agreement with Boca, which would see him move in the summer if Juventus were to agree to it.

That seems unlikely though, with the Bianconeri unwilling to lose their star striker a year before the end of his contract.

According to the website, the Turin giants are confident that in the end Tevez will want to spend another year competing in Europe, as one of the Old Lady’s key men.

‘Tevez wants Boca’

Boca Juniors Coach Rodolfo Arruabarena insists Carlos Tevez wants to return to La Bombonera, but isn’t taking anything for granted.

It was reported this week that the Argentinian international has already agreed terms on a move, and could return to Argentina as soon as this summer.

“I won’t say anything until I see him training and signing for us,” Arruabarena is reported as saying by Gianluca Di Marzio’s website.

“I know that Carlos is very tied to Boca, he’s given so much to this club and would like to return one day.

“For now there are only rumours and I can’t say much more.”
