This is the 'harsh reality' where everyone is aware of but i cant agree when one suggests Juve's elimination was down to the quality of the league.Dortmund for example went from group stage flops to CL finalists in the space of a season.

It was a big failure but with some really necessary tweaks we can bounce back and do well next year as there is talent in the squad.

Carlos Tevez of Juventus doesn’t expect to be recalled by Argentina for the 2014 World Cup Finals.

The forward has been in fine form for the Turin giants since leaving Manchester City, but he’s not in the plans of boss Alejandro Sabella.

“I don’t think my goals can convince Sabella to take me to the World Cup,” the 29-year-old told Tuttosport.

Tevez netted a hat-trick in the 4-0 win over Sassuolo on Sunday to take his Serie A tally to 10 goals in 16 appearances.

“I want to win the Scudetto with Juve, so I would also like to win the Capocannoniere crown,” he continued.

“I look to just do my best – sometimes I am able to do that, others I am not.

“The season is not over and we’ll look to win every trophy available to us.”

Carlos Tevez has reiterated his belief that he won’t be going to the World Cup with Argentina.

The Juventus striker told reporters earlier this month that he wasn’t expecting to be on the plane to Brazil.

And in an interview with a radio station this afternoon, the Bianconeri man has claimed that he ‘won’t be given a chance’, and also revealed what he plans to do after the Old Lady.

“I guess I won’t be called up even if I score 30 goals,” he told Radio La Red.

“I won’t be given a chance. It hurts to watch the national team.

“The World Cup? I’ll be on vacation. I won’t lose sleep about it, I’ve already played in two.

“I have a three-year contract at Juve and after that I’ll probably go back to Boca. I would love my children to see me play in those colours.

“My love for that shirt has never changed – I would play for free.”

I remember when many posters gave us shit for not getting higuain over Tevez.

All I can say now is im ALOT happier we paid 9mil for tevez then 40odd mil for Higuain.

Tevez has been amazing so far, looks to be on target for atleast 20 goals for the season. pretty sure the last time a juve player to get past 20 goals was our former #10 ADP.

Love the way he steals the ball from opposition defenders and starts and attack

Will be beyond happy if he has more goals than Balo and higgy by the end of the season. Imo he's not even at full form yet.

Juve staff fly out for Tevez

It’s reported Juventus have flown a fitness coach to Argentina to work with Carlos Tevez after he delayed his return.

The striker had been due back in Turin to begin training yesterday, but was delayed by what the club termed “a family problem.”

Media in Italy and Argentina suggest it is linked to his wife, who is seven months pregnant and required medical treatment this week.

As Juve play Roma on January 5 in a title showdown, time is short for the forward to find his form.

With this in mind, Sky Sport Italia claim Juventus have flown a fitness coach out to Argentina in order to work with Tevez and keep his fitness levels up.

It is hoped he can be in decent condition when he does return to Italy, although it is not clear when that will be.

Pirlo to but tbh I liked the mid MArchisio, Pogba, Vidal better the ball was moving quicker, our play was more aggressive we pressed more and Marchisio was playing like a mix between DMF and DLP he has more stamina covers more ground I like it..

I agree, that midfield is not only still very technical but also very athletic.

Superb assist for the first goal. Was all over the place and really has been such a massive upgrade to what we've had in the past.I'm glad we bought him over Jovetic.

Hope he's ok for the next game btw.

Not so sure about that.We were never going to blow 30m on one player anyway.

Tevez: Italy is completing me

Carlos Tevez has reflected on his upbringing, his desire to return to Boca Juniors and on life at Juventus under Antonio Conte.

The Argentine is midway through his first season in Serie A with the Bianconeri and currently has 11 League goals to his name for the runaway table-toppers.

For the former Manchester United and City man, his latest Coach has had an immediate impact on him.

“He is a phenomenon, unique, I have never seen a Coach like him. He is also a bit ‘loco’,” Tevez has told today’s edition of the Gazzetta dello Sport about Antonio Conte.

“This is the real strength of Juve, you cannot relax for a minute, even when you are in the dressing room, he asks you to push a thousand miles at a time.”

Whilst the club are also still in the Coppa Italia and anticipating entry into the Europa League from next month, the 29-year-old doesn’t see any reason for the Bianconeri to compromise.

“I am thinking about both competitions [League and Europa League]. I want them,” Tevez has stated in an interview with the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I have won championships in Argentina, Brazil and England - Italy would be the fourth country. I am dreaming of writing a page in the history of this great club.

“The Europa League is the only international competition that I am missing at club level. The Coppa Italia is also there in the background.

“The championship, though, is not over, the return round of fixtures has some tough away games - Napoli, Roma, Lazio, Milan and Udinese, for example. There is still some work.”

Tevez’s goal celebrations this term have seen him lift his shirt with messages to commemorate where he was brought up, in the Buenos Aires neighbourhood of Ejercito de Los Andes, nicknamed ‘Fuerte Apache’.

“There, you have become an adult, you cannot stay as a baby. Life is hard, you go to bed with the sound of shots rising from the streets, you see friends die, and eating every day is not for granted.

“From Fuerte Apache, in short, if you do not come out right then you would not emerge as a real man. But at least in my day there was a kind of code.

“Today, I want to say that the drugs have made things worse, removed any form of respect in general. Drugs are everywhere, unfortunately within reach of anyone.

“At Fuerte Apache, I learned never to give up.”

Tevez began his professional career with Boca Juniors and admits he holds the desire to one day return.

“I’ll be back, that’s for sure, but for now my head is here at Juventus. I’m really happy in Turin, and my next son will be born here, Lito junior.

“I want to thank everyone for the love that I felt during the hospitalisation of my wife at the end of the year. She is now with me, and I am happy.

“Life in Serie A? I am impressed by the growth of Callejon. Serie A remains the toughest League in the world.

“It is the university of football, tactics here are at the highest level and we have to suffer on every field. Only Juve every now and again are rampant.

“Italy is completing me. If you can score here, you can everywhere.”

Now that Osvaldo is here,i think he needs to be rotated often.
Average performance today.Did some good work in the first half but a really disappointing 2nd half performance. His poor touches and his constant dispossession of the ball made it easy work for Inter defenders out there.
