Re: THE OFFICIAL MOYES OUT THREAD
the next united captain should be carrick. Jones is good, but he's still too young to be a captain. Carrick is composed, hardworking, and is old enough to be our captain

Those Vines Brilliant
And yeah, this **** was a curse/jinx. I actually believe it and I am serious about it. In my culture, we call it the 'eye'. And this guy had the 'eye'. He carries the stench of failure.
He came to us, turned us into midtable sh*t...while across town, our sworn enemies were having their best league campaign in 24 years- on their way to romping it.
He gets sacked, and all is right in the universe. Liverpool start effing up and have effectively blown the league in their last 2 games since Moyes' departure.
Sorry for rambling on.
I love football again and I am currently beaming like a Cheshire cat. Pulis

Re: THE OFFICIAL MOYES OUT THREAD
Police are investigating reports of an assault in a wine bar in Lancashire allegedly involving the former Manchester United manager David Moyes and another man.
Moyes, 51, who was sacked last month by Manchester United with four games to go before the end of his first season, was in a wine bar in Clitheroe on Wednesday evening.
Police said there was an incident in the wine bar, the Emporium, which was now under investigation.
In a statement Lancashire police said: “Police are investigating a report of an assault at the Emporium wine bar in Clitheroe.
“Officers attended the bar at about 10pm on Wednesday and it was reported that a 23-year-old local man had been assaulted by a 51-year-old man. He did not require hospital treatment.
“Inquiries are ongoing and we are speaking to a number of people to try to establish the circumstances.
“There are a number of differing accounts, which we need to work through to try to establish exactly what has happened. No one has been arrested at this stage.”
Police are examining CCTV footage from the bar and speaking to people who were in there at the time.
Moyes, 51, was sacked by United last month after the team finished seventh in the Premier League.

Re: THE OFFICIAL MOYES OUT THREAD
Don't think it's right to 'assault' a guy, but he doesn't deserve to be taunted. Moyes shouldn't have done it, but it seems he was provoked.

Re: THE OFFICIAL MOYES OUT THREAD
I bet the guy is a United fan
He was shet, came across as a clueless arrogant so and so, but there is absolutely no need to abuse him in person at this point in time. He's no longer associated with us, let the man be in peace.

Re: THE OFFICIAL MOYES OUT THREAD
Rio Ferdinand hits out David Moyes's tactics while in charge of Manchester United
Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand says David Moyes's approach was 'embarrassing' at times during his Old Trafford reign
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/11096067/Rio-Ferdinand-hits-out-David-Moyess-tactics-while-in-charge-of-Manchester-United.html
Kinda happy a player came out about how it was under Moyes, but still wrong of Rio to do it though. It's the stuff that sells books, I guess. Fergie did it too. Keane has a book coming out soon as well
Anyway, there was actually fans that thought Moyes deserved more time, pundits that thought he was harshly sacked. Sounds mental now. Practicing set-pieces at the park?!

Re: THE OFFICIAL MOYES OUT THREAD
The whole approach was alien. Other times Moyes wanted lots of passing. He’d say: 'Today I want us to have 600 passes in the game. Last week it was only 400’. Who cares? I’d rather score five goals from 10 passes.

Re: THE OFFICIAL MOYES OUT THREAD
Confirms everything that was said about him last season. He lost half of the dressing room from the very first training session (most prolly from the announcement of his appointment as manager) and the rest, apart from Rooney and maybe Fletcher, he lost 2 or 3 months down the line.
Further compounds what a disaster he was and I shudder at the thought that this man actually managed United last season.
I look forward to reading more about this once I purchase Rio's book, and I also look forward to more players coming out and speaking the truth about last season- the likes of Kagawa and Chicha, who were both treated unfairly by him.

Re: THE OFFICIAL MOYES OUT THREAD
Dropping Ferdinand in the park (still funny ), in front everyone was really, really unclassy of Moyes. Ferdinand is a strong character, so it wouldn't effect him as much, but you'd think if Moyes did similar acts to this to the likes of Cleverley and Kagawa, it would have really knocked their confidence.

This is so bizarre, I think he's talking about the Everton game, where we kept passing it about with no penetration Also, shows the Fulham game was a deliberate tactic by Moyes, how can one blame the players if the manager is telling them to keep crossing, they can't stop following managers orders suddenly.

Re: THE OFFICIAL MOYES OUT THREAD
Vidic saw what was to come, panicked, and jumped ship at the first chance
He didn't want to go and we would have greatly benefitted by having him this season.
Many players gave up hope, and Rio has finally revealed why. Not that it wasn't obvious, but it's pleasing to get confirmation.
