Its not like i want to be proven right at all costs but i dont think this PSG team is elite yet like how some claim.

'Top 4' European team.'2nd most dominant midfield in Europe'.This is extreme hype much like how we were hyped last year.I can understand Marseille fans getting excited and all considering its the first time in a long time there is a relevant French team in Europe but imo they still havent got there yet.

Ofcourse if they surpass Chelsea here,i'd have nothing to say and will keep my mouth zipped.

 How about quoting the rest of it... with a CB pairing of Rami-Mexes and a midfield of M'Vila-Alou Diarra-Nasrishat.  When you think about it, that team didn't lose a game for almost 2 years until the Euro.  Probably the poorest talent on France NT for 30+ years.  The media in France have recognized it now in retrospect and often talk about how that team had to overachieve...

I see where you're coming from Sports, however I do think it's significant that he then undermined his good work with the team by effectively chickening out against Spain and giving his side no chance of progressing and I feel that that will stick in people's minds more than anything, particularly given the magnitude of this tie.

This being said, I feel that PSG have an excellent chance to progress. I still see Chelsea's lack of a first class centre forward as a critical weakness given the quality of the competition this year. Their threat as a set piece side and depth in attacking midfield and the flanks still make them fully capable of getting a result, however I feel that if Chelsea are unable to get something from the first leg in Paris that they won't be able to turn it around.

Mou is a quarter final monster.

PSG are going out imo no way their fullbacks hold up against Chelsea's wide players.

taking france to the quarters of the euros was no accomplishment sports come on.

Anyway, typical possession vs counter attacking team battle. PSG will dominate the ball and Chelsea will try to make things happen on the break.

I give the advantage to the team that's quite clearly going to dictate who has the ball, specially when i havent seen Chelsea beating anyone convincing in CL this year.

In 4 years he's been to a final and 3 Semi's. The last time I believe he didn't reach a semi-final was with Inter in his first year.

Which means he won't reach the semi's this year and win the whole thing next year

He went out of the CL in the last 16 with Inter if I'm not mistaken.

Jose has never lost a Quarter final tie. I don't think he'll start now.

2nd leg at Chelsea is big advantage for Mourinho .Will park the bus and get a draw in 1st leg and go through at SB i think

Past results have zero bearing on future ones I agree.

However past results isn't why Jose is a good coach. How he prepares his team is why I think Chelsea have a bigger advantage than PSG atm.
