Re: Suarez Bites No More (we can but hope)
Luis Suarez will be available to play for Liverpool again for Capital One Cup fourth round if #lfc are still in, or Newcastle (A) on Nov 1.
cant be transfered barca will have to find the hunger for trophies somewhere else, like higuain, but you risk to go hungry there...

Re: Suarez Bites No More (we can but hope)
fifa has banned him from any administrative activities as well, that 4 month ban looks like it's all comprehensive. No admin stuff, cant go to stadium, etc... So no, he cant be transferred, the paper work wont go through.Collblanc wrote:How can he not be transferred? Someone explain plz

Re: Suarez Bites No More (we can but hope)
Extremely lenient, his world cup is over but considering it was his third time, I felt the punishment would need to be a lot more. Four months, because of the summer break, is only going to be be nine BPL games.
I'm happy his world cup is over, but I really feel it's too lenient considering it's his third time...

If the Alexis + Cash for Suarez deal was true then this could be a blessing in disguise for Juventus...

Re: Suarez Bites No More (we can but hope)
I think it was a good decision. 4 months from all footy activities is tough... and the Uruguay games are official games, not friendlies. So he's going to miss Copa America as well.
Next time, he's gone for 1-2 years... that would be the end of his pro footy career.

He's also been fined £65,000... which is £15,000 less than what Bendtner was fined for showing off Paddy Power underwear.

Re: Suarez Bites No More (we can but hope)
what;s funny is that this ban risks to make him acts even nutter when he returns next season.
Absolutely every defense in EPL will do their best to rile him up and to push him to act crazy. This is not the last of suarez acting nuts, i am pretty sure of that

Re: Suarez Bites No More (we can but hope)
At the very least should have been until January imo.
Showed no remorse in his actions.
Uruguayan FA and him should be ashamed playing it off like nothing happened. They should have been apologizing on their hands and knees.

That's the worst part, you wouldn't think they would take that angle but it seems Suarez isn't crazy, his just Uruguayan , they all seem to lack a few brain cells.

I don't think Suarez will be celebrating, in fact, I still think he'll find it hard to swallow.

Yeah, I saw interviews of people in Uruguay about the incident and they're all brainwashed into thinking Suarez didn't bite Chiellini.

Re: Suarez Bites No More (we can but hope)
Liverpool Football Club has released the following statement in response to the FIFA Disciplinary Committee's decision regarding Luis Suarez.
Ian Ayre, chief executive officer, said: "Liverpool Football Club will wait until we have seen and had time to review the FIFA Disciplinary Committee report before making any further comment."

Re: Suarez Bites No More (we can but hope)
they all know he bit him, they are just defending him. There is no accountability for suarez whatsoever, but they are not idiots.Ganso wrote:its not just their FA and the Uruguay team defending him, EVERY single Uruguayan think he is innocent

Suarez has an issue, but instead of people helping him, they all act as if nothing happened. That was probably more horrible than suarez biting chiellini. He is a grown man and he has a problem. first step is to admit that he has an issue but everyone in uruguay will turn a blind eye and act like it's the injustice of british and italian medias, the big countries attacking the small uruguay, the poor people. what a joke...

What an excellent read, thank you. Makes me sympathize with him. Still, the punishment was lenient. Should have been a year at least.

Re: Suarez Bites No More (we can but hope)
Too lenient. Should have been at least 4 months starting from the new season. I'd also keep him out of the 2018 World Cup to teach the rat a lesson.
