Morata is finished

Morata

Didn't actually appreciate how good he was at Madrid. Thought he was a pretty good talent but I was very impressed with him over the two legs, didn't know he had that in him.

Dont know why but I still consider him bit overrated?

Overrated? That's almost impossible. Nobody even talks about him, and he dumped the CL holders out of the CL in the Semi finals in his early 20's.

There has been more hype about Morata's sister here than Morata himself FFS

I think I am beginning to see the sort of player Morata is... He is somewhat limited in the sense that he doesn't have the flair, ability and fancy of a Benzema,Neymar and Ronaldo but he is one hell of an effective player. He is more like a Inzaghi,Raul or Morientes. These guys weren't born with the ability to dribble past 4 players on there own and do messi,ronaldo and henry type magic but they did their jobs well which was scoring goals and especially at crucial times.

Thats what I had in mind, and this kind of out and out strikers or goal poachers I think they used to be called have gone out of fashion in the past 5 or 10 years? Whatever it is as we see strikers becoming all rounders nowadays and needing to help link up, which is not players like Morata can do well, hes a pure striker.

Think if you actually watch him you'll find out that his general play has been instrumental in our CL run and his link up play with Tevez has been hurting everybody.

When I look at Morata I see young Fernando Torres.

Better on the ball(and more complete) than Torres imo.Not quite clinical as Torres tho.Maybe he can get there in the future.

Yeah but he is the closest football player that he reminds me off with that speed and tech.

He doesn't have the pace Torres had, personally he seems a much more mobile version of Mandzukic.

What stands out for me is that Morata's deceptively quick.Big reason why Juve's counter-attacking game has improved ten fold this season.

Tbh there wasn't any difference as players, it's the difference in style of play in leagues which changed.

In La Liga the only team that gave Torres space in behind was Barca where is in the PL every team gave him space in behind

He was just more suited to England as a whole and his skillset could shine better there.

What reminds is that he is also tall, spanish, with good tech and is quick. But yeah there's something different, he can't be exact same player
