Look Daniel has been getting the same injury now for the 4th time with England because Woy has played him 90 minutes in a pointless friendly 4 days after he played 90 mins for Liverpool. 4 *bleep* TIMES. FOUR!!
Daniel is injury prone. Anybody with a right mind wouldn't even play him in that friendly and certainly not for the full match.

It's not contact injury that he's got in training. It's his frickin thigh again.

Dude, you cannot seriously accuse Hodgson for Sturridge getting injured in training...

From what I read it's not a contact injury, it's an injury picked up through exhaustion of his thigh muscle. Had he not played that 90 minutes 4 day after playing 90 minutes this might not happen.

And I wonder wtf Woy's training is set up like. Probably middle ages run dem laps routine. Exhausted Daniel even more.

It's no co-incidence that Sturridge always gets injured with England.

It's not like he want to purposely injure him. Playing him for 90 minutes, and an intense training session the day after doesn't suit some players. Players have different bodies and should get treatment and training plans based on that.

That's why RVP didn't get injured under SAF at all, and was back to being injury prone under Moyes. It's very simple.

Anyways.....Guardian says 2-3 weeks, we really should be fine considering Lallana is back fit as well.

@BMac: Everton have literally the exact same squad as last year only with their defense a year older Laughing

No point hoping, they always bottle it against Liverpool. They have such an inferior complex against them....something deep rooted in that club's mentality when it comes to derby games.

So why don't Liverpool rest him?
Why does it have to be England?

Its not Roy's fault, only person to blame is Studge.

Why is Studge to blame ffs?

Roy's not the issue, neither is Liverpool. Sturridge, unfortunately is just injury prone.

Look's to be very serious.

Daniel SturridgeVerified account
‏@D_Sturridge ·7h Heartbroken soul right now believe me. Hopefully be back soon fighting fit for LFC. Nothing worse than being injured. My heads gone...

Hope he gets over it sooner rather than later. Hopefully comes back mentally strong too. Neutral

This instance was not really anyone's direct fault.

Liverpool fans can legitimately feel a bit suspicious though given the incident last December and could also perhaps be forgiven for thinking that, following that incident, the player deserved to be treated a bit more carefully while on international duty.

How does it affect preparations by subbing him in 60 mins rather than playing 90 mins.?

He is injury prone and has just played full 90 min two days back on Sunday so why not use common sense?

But this is Owl who last year asked DS to play through injury to show his mettle .Calling Roy idiot is a compliment

Wasn't the same thing being used against Suarez? So what he's scoring 30 a season, He needs to play well in the CL to be considered legit according to GL.

This is why I hate international football. Especially friendlies, I loathe them so much. Important players go off and get injured and the club's have to suffer for it.

Messed up.

so what, because a player is 'injury prone' you're not supposed to play him?
He might as well just call it quits completely then.

Injuries happen, just stop moaning and deal with it.
