He was sent to the Chelsea reserves, but that's where it stops for me. He used to be good. Better than Zaha, anyway.

Malouda is captaining Metz in Ligue 1 this year .

he's also 34 and in the twilight of his career , not sure he fits in the " forgotten " players category .

He's at Schalke since 2015 but he was injured all last season right after joining (similarly to Coke this season and Aranguiz at bayer last season), torn Achilles tendon I think. He's been starting to feature for them now.

I just remembered Jose Enrique, googled him and see he's joined Real Zaragoza on a two-year deal. I hope he does well there and enjoys football still. I always thought he was a pretty decent footballer, it's a shame how his LFC career turned out in the end.
