Re: GL Fantasy Football: 14/15 Season - Part 2
What do you guys think of Sigurdsson vs Erkisen at the moment? It looks like Siggy is going to get a few very good fitures while Eriksen has been underperforming as of late.

Re: GL Fantasy Football: 14/15 Season - Part 2
Eriksen has weeks where he gets so many points that it seems to justify his 8.5m pricetag, but his goals/assists also go missing for weeks on end at times. For around the same cost, you can bring in guys like Coutinho, Sterling, and Cazorla.
Meanwhile, Sigurdsson has roughly the exact same ups and downs, but costs only 6.5m, which allows you to strengthen in other areas. For me, Sigurdsson wins this debate hands-down.
That said, I would not be 100% confident in either's form atm. I have Eriksen in my team but I want to get rid of him, and not for Sigurdsson.

Swansea tend to wither away at this stage when they have secured a mid-table finish and haven't got anything to play for. Spurs are fighting for a top-4 finish. I've got Eriksen and don't fancy swapping him for Sigurdsson (who could still be a good buy, though). I hope this didn't help.

I'm keeping Eriksen for now. After ManU, he's got Burnley, Leicester, Villa, and Newcastle.

Don't have Eriksen, don't plan on getting him any time soon.
Siggy I have, but I'm thinking about getting him out. Like Eman said, he hasn't been setting the world alight as of late. Too up and down, but his cost might keep there for a while

Absolutely abysmal gameweek so far. I have Coutinho left to play but nobody on my team has scored, assisted, got a clean sheet or bonus points as of yet

38 Pts Which is not bad in comparison to some, but losing to 2nd from bottom The Chosen XI
So gutted didn't went with Giroud as my captain as I considered it. Aguero has turned into in overpriced pos, need to get him out but for who? Which striker apart from Giroud and Kane is giving good pts atm Costa may be back to scoring ways so might get him in. If LvG keeps playing with Rooney uptop might consider that as well, but I don't know with LvG - he is a crazy, stupid pos.

You could always try Sturridge now that he's back
A real quiet gameweek, but clean sheets from De Gea, Dawson and Koscielny at least made me perform averagely. Still losing H2H to Ganso, though.

Aguero (West Brom at home), Kane (Leicester at home) or De Gea (Liverpool away) for captain?

Re: GL Fantasy Football: 14/15 Season - Part 2
There have been very few reliable fantasy players since the turn of the year. Kane and Giroud are pretty much the only guys who consistently have good gameweeks. I got rid of Aguero for Giroud this week since he has been an utter waste of money and now of course West Brom are down to 10 men right at the start of the game

Re: GL Fantasy Football: 14/15 Season - Part 2
Aguero is a diesel player. If he's out, he will take a few games to get back to his usual. After a few weeks he will start playing like he usually does.
It was the same case at the beginning of the season.

Well I'll stop complaining since my team is beasting it so far this gameweek and Watchmen are on track to lose to Morte. Surely going to reclaim the top spot?

11 pts off 4th place, 19 pts up on relegation. Inconsistent results. I am the Swansea City of FPL
Making it my goal to get into the top 5 of the classic league though. At least that's something

Costa and Hazard were too much
Sanchez has gone really cold, just one goal and no assists in his last seven matches. But I just know he'll start scoring big points again if I trade him off

I'm in the same boat. Sanchez is killing me, especially with his price dono if I should sell him though :/

Re: GL Fantasy Football: 14/15 Season - Part 2
Depends have you got Hazard or not, he's the only sensible replacement, imo. Maybe Silva, too, but I've got him. I haven't got Hazard, though, so I could make the trade. But on paper it's anybody's guess which one is going to score more points in the remaining games. Hazard has 11+7 this season while Sanchez has 13+7. Somehow Hazard has accumulated 11 more bonus points, though #campaignagainstarsenal
Can't trade Sanchez off just yet, though, because Arsenal play Liverpool next round and that would be a guaranteed hat-trick for Alexis if I did that.

Re: GL Fantasy Football: 14/15 Season - Part 2
To be honest, none of the midfielders in the league are doing great right now. Having good forwards is where it's at. I have spent so much trying to have a good midfield that I have had to keep Defoe in my team for like a month, during which time he has done feck all, while if I had just weakened my midfield for strikers I would be doing so much better.
