Well if you are playing against the Harry Kane team, you need to contain Harry Kane.

Either that or he could come to Bayern in summer and rule the world with our team

And oh, if he does rule the world with Bayern it will be due to the fact that Bayern owners wont play along with his whims.

Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
It's time to admit for me that he is awful, his Lovren comments on the post-match interview was disgusting-- almost Mourinho-esque. The guy has lost the plot.
This clown has had a whole summer to sign a bunch of players who can improve his defence, but he personally *bleep* up the van Dijk deal by pissing off Southampton and then proceded to sign absolutely no body in his place and continue with the same Lovren he now bashes on the press. This dumbass signed a midtable at best left back only to go and not play him and continue with the even worse Milner/Moreno. This stupid f**k signed no midfielder for this year despite having Henderson, Wijnaldum and Can starting in his team. Instead he wasted 40m on Oxlade-Chamberlain who can only play well in one formation, and one that Klopp doesn't even use.

I didn't see him bash lovren post game but if he did that's uncharacteristic for him. Proof that there's a lot of pressure on him right now I guess. Gone by xmas.

Who publicly criticizes his own players?
That really is the height of idiocy, no faster way to lose the dressing room as theyll think "next time it could be me"

Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
What exactly did he say?
Agreed tho, people hate on Pep for saying things like "Stones is the best young CB in the world" when he's just had a horrorshow, but it's better than throwing your players under the bus. It won't make the player feel better after the game, but it sure as hell won't make him feel worse

Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
He said if I was on the pitch I would have won that header. Meaning the ball loven missed for the 2nd goal. The thing is all football players have strengths and weaknesses. The way klopp plays exposes every single weakness in Lovren game and doesn’t make use of any of his strong points. The reason loven is so bad now is because he has not only lost every bit of confidence he ever had he has also lost every bit of confidence in klopp game plan to defend. Now we all know that matip and loven are not top class players but they are not as bad as we are seeing right now. If mourinho took over at Liverpool tomorrow within the space of a month Liverpool would be conceding less than half the goals they concede right now and that’s a fact.

I think it's fine to slate the team as a whole but when you start picking out individuals, it's just a slippery slope. He knows he's gone. But this isn't the 20th century and whoever is next in line for the job will be a nobody.

He also said that he 'does not want to single out Lovren' as he 'was not worse than the rest of the team'.
This is all fake news.
This thread will again be nowhere to be seen after Klopp got van Dick and Lemur in winter, gets to CL quarters and reaches top 4 again.

Exactly. The commentators/pundits pointed out how badly other players fared during the goals as well as in the game in general.Tomwin Lannister wrote:BarrileteCosmico wrote:Who publicly criticizes his own players?

Nothing unlucky about it. Sevilla outplayed them in the 2nd half by miles. Whatever Klopp is coaching, it certainly does not involve any defensive training.

@zigra: I don't know about that. His Dortmund side at its peak was a tough nut to crack, but I guess the quality of the players also plays a big part in the equation.
Not trying to defend him at all btw, he's entirely to blame for not strengthening Pool's defense.

Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
with a good defensive coach this Liverpool team could be very good. its the same old problems we have seen for 2 years. if a manager cant fix the simple problems in 2 years chances are he will never fix them. January will fix nothing.Nishankly wrote:January is near lads. That's his last chance tbh.
