Re: NFL Thread Part 2
How is he acting shady. The NFLPA didn't want him to turn the phone over. And such a harsh verdict without any real evidence is BS.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
How is he acting Shady?
He acted like he didn't know the ball boys.
He acted like they have never communicated.
He acted like this was all a coincindence.
Add to that, his own dad has come out and said his son was framed ffs.
Patriots fans keep bringing up Aaron Rodgers. If it was as simple and basic as that, why hasn't Brady done it? Why haven't him and his father just act like this is being over-blown? If it is no big deal as you guys keep saying, why didn't Brady and his dad treat it as such to begin with?
Why say his son was framed? Why all the "I don't know about all this"? If it's no big deal, why all the shady rubbish?
He's hiding something.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
Rodgers didn't 'come out' and say anything. He just flat out said he likes to over inflate the balls and no one gave a shit lol.
Point is that Rodgers broke the rules, according to him anyway, and nothing was made of it. It doesn't matter if you admit to it or not, he provided testimony against himself, yet we never heard a word about it.
Word gets leaked that Brady likes his footballs below regulation pressure and there are 'reports' and now the league has 'integrity'.
Yeah, alright.
Also, he might not actually no the ball boys or equipment handlers by name. Tedy Bruschi was talking about it the other night. He knew the same guys that are being investigated but had no idea who they were when mentioned by name.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
Uh yes, Aaron Rodgers did come out and say it. It was reported that Aaron Rodgers likes the balls a bit over-inflated, then he came out and said "Yeah, I do".
Tom Brady didn't do that. Hell, we don't even know if Brady likes less pressure in the balls because he hasn't said anything. He's been tight-lipped about it. He's been adamant that he knows nothing about it.
Broke the rules? Where is the report that on the field of play during a Packers game that there was a problem with the balls? Where?
Brady and the Patriots are full of shit. If it is no big deal, why say you have been framed?
Why this?
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/05/12/wells-criticizes-patriots-brady-for-lack-of-full-cooperation/
What is all that about? You as fans keep saying it is no big deal, but your team is acting like it is:
- Tom Brady is being quiet.
- His dad said he was framed.
- The Patriots aren't fully cooperating.
They are hiding something.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
It was pretty telling that "size 11" shoes and other memorabilia would show up for "the deflator" as he referred to himself, the day after games.
Also telling how the day after the initial story came out, Brady invites the guy into his office(QB room). That guy worked there for 20 years and had never been invited there. Followed by the text messages to him from Brady "you okay" "you doing good buddy".
But he said he didn't even know the guy...
I'm glad Ted Wells replied to Bradys agent/father today. Completely out of line to attack his credibility strictly because the results didn't end up in your favor.
edit: and Rodgers would have the balls pumped over the limit before the refs checked them... He wasn't taking them to a private room to re-inflate them afterwards in order to get around the referees.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
That's all Rodgers said in the open. How is it so ridiculous to compare a rule being broken and being investigated with no admission to the fact to a rule being broken and it being admitted in the first place?
Shouldn't have someone sniffed around the Packers' camp after Rodgers said that?
Jesus, Izzy, who even said framed or that it wasn't a big deal? Lmao, you're the only one throwing those words around.
Saying that there are double standards isn't equivalent.
The only reason I see this getting blown out of proportion is our history. The lying about it is a separate issue and I have no idea why you can't make that distinction when I talk about Rodgers ffs.

I meant in this thread because, from his poor choice of words, he made it seem like he was aiming it at people in this thread.

*sigh*
So I should refer to you guys by name when referring to Patriots fans?
Fact of the matter is, Patriots fans have been treating this as no big deal.
You're the one who said it is only as big as it is because it's the Patriots, basically saying this should be a non-story.
I responded saying that your Organization, Your QB, Your QB's DAD have treated it the exact opposite of the way you guys feels.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
Let's get something straight: I don't think that deflating footballs below regulations affects a football game anywhere near the point that it could be considered a significant factor in determining the outcome.
I also do not believe, for one second, that Tom Brady and the Pats are the only team to do these kinds of things under the table. I bring up the Rodgers point over and over again because I DO make the distinction between the actual act of it and Brady's refusal to cooperate. Saying you break the rules doesn't change the fact that you broke the damn rules. That's why I mention Rodgers.
I think it was overblown to have investigated it the way that they did. The media circus that followed it was definitely because the Patriots have history here, that's not up for discussion, everyone knows that.
I don't know why Brady would say he didn't know anything about it if he did (if the findings are accurate) but I still think the punishments are over the top.

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
Kinda lame, but it's basically an intro to the team. Cushing is hilarious like his previous Mic'd up showed. Watt and Wilfork the main focus like expected. Vrabel is definitely right about how soft the team can be.
Best part is Kevin Johnson's(1st rd pick) sister though

Re: NFL Thread Part 2
So is everyone on here still sure of Brady's guilt, even though everything is pointing towards him being innocent now.
Him not turning his phone over was pretty much for privacy reasons, since everything he turned over has been leaked to the press including e-mail with Gisele and his ex about his children etc.
