If I was Madrid I wouldn't fire Ancelotti. Dude won them the impossible decima and a cup in the first year. He's a league flop for sure though.

If they fire him, I don't see a clear candidate to replace him. Klopp is perhaps the best option for them but I'm not sure his 120km-runned-per-game strategy can work at Madrid with CR, Bale, Benzema, Isco, Kroos, Modric... all players that do not put huge effort. Also, he runs players to the ground as Ancelotti has done this season.

Kroos about Ancelotti after the game:

My choice would be Laudrup. Guy has huge balls and plays great football. His balls were the reason he got fired though, wanted full control, don't know if Perez would go for that.

RM would be stupid to sack him IMO. Give him time to actually build a team and reticify his mistakes from this season, but as always(and hopefully) Florentino will most likely sack him and go crazy in the market this summer hunting for his new toys and screw themselves over again for the long-term

I never liked Carlo. ALL Madrid fans here know that. Hated him since day one.

I don't care about liking them or not, my issue is how you are doing your job and IN MY OPINION, he has been OK and that's not good enough.

This thread suggests we didn't credit him with the decima win.

No, he doesn't and again, IN MY OPINION, he lucked up BIG TIME. I don't credit him for those wins. I never have. The players won in spite of him, not because of him.

No, he gets no credit for it................................. just like you give Pep no credit for any type of influence he may have had on the Germany NT.

Also, we were in the Semis 3 years straight before Carlo, that's coming close imo.

i never denied Pep's influence on the german NT .
.... but that influence was negative and almost cost them against freaking Algeria the moment they did away with that false 9/ Lahm in midfield crap, the team looked better and went on to win the whole thing .

Mourinho would have never approached that bayern game the way Carlo did . remember the good ol days of Pepe-Alonso-Khedia ?

are you even gona bother asking that. Madrid don't have supporters. thay have a bunch of people that only turn up to watch a team win. a manager can win 500 games. but thay want him out as soon as he loses the 501st game.
