Depends.... the best 3s i wouldn't say so, i'd rather him defend practically every 2 in the league over most of the elite 3s

I think Kobe should have switched to the 3 position when Artest left honestly.

He needs to be closer to the rim.

As for defending 3's, I guess we are speaking about Durant, Melo, Lebron, Leonard and George? I think Kobe would try his hand at defending them, regardless of if he plays the 2 or 3. You know how he is

Well Bird says George is going to play a lot of 4 this year so maybe we can rule him out.

But yeah they probably are the guys, maybe one of the Bucks guys could be an issue match up wise and Wiggins just purely on athleticism.

Think Hibbert will help a lot defensively. If we can get him to sacrifice 100% then that can help Kobe focus 100% offensively (as he always does) without his lacking defense also hurting 100%.

Had 2 blocks inside a minute, damn they were vicious. He looks like a legit baller. Prefer him over Black atm. Fun game apart from the 68 fouls I think it amounted too. Wasn't really any need for it. Not even half of them would've been called in a regular season game ffs.

Yeah, we do. I wouldn't want to play Hibbert more than 30 anyways. He's too big for that.

Upshaw had some great blocks.
Larry Nance is ridiculously athletic.
Towns looks good, nothing special defensively yet.
Russell has a unique passing ability. Stunning to watch.

Jordan Mickey has been a nice surprise. Solid defender, nice wingspan and can make the 18 footer consistently.

We signed Upshaw on a 2 year deal

Been watching some clips this morning, quite like the look of Randle.

Also it's going to be a progress full of ups and downs but there's no way Mudiay doesn't become a star. The way he glides around the court and gets where he wants to be with ease is a fantastic sign.

Randle looked rusty. Probably due to lack of playing time, which resulted in him attacking every touch.

Clarkson reminds me so much of Westbrook tbh, it's crazy. Crazy athletic with a killer midrange.

Embiid having another surgery and likely to miss all of 2015-16...

Damn, his career is jeopardy. Have to hope for a Big Z type career where he can get past the early injuries but that's pretty rare.

This is so freaking sad... Really want him to do well. Seems like such a great guy, way too much potential to be great... No career should end because of injury.

He went undrafted but then signed right after by the Nets on a 2 year deal. He was probably their 3rd PG but now that Deron is gone he has a chance to get some real minutes. One of my favorite college players.
