I don't understand the logic behind rebooting the series with the same actors and characters

???

tbh I was definitely addicted to the original for the first 2 seasons and then watched it to the end due to that despite souring on it

was one of the first proper shows I followed along with Lost and Heroes when they were airing, can't believe that was like 11 years ago

I won't bother with this

Isn't it just a continuation though? And not a reboot.

hmm

tbh it was at its best when they were locked up and in S2 when they were on the run with the manhunt underway

the conspiracy and double crossing stuff was meh

so unless they find themselves in prison again 0 interest

can see this being another case of heroes syndrome, they borught it back and i was pretty optimistic but it was terrible, bailed with a few eps left, heard it got cancelled lol

American government conspiring aginst 2 random plebs was hilarious. But season 2 was amazing with the squad on the run and their own stories.

Season 1 was one of the best thriller i've seen anywhere.

Maybe it's because prison break was new to all of us as it was during the dawn of tv shows.

Hope they are in prison again. I think its a reboot because last season is going to be scrapped and michael will be miraculously alive.

Agreed with Firenze, season 1 and 2 was peak, rest was average, and i saw season 3 where he went to that no rules prison 'Sona' or something, season 4 was filler until the ending.

Eerily similar to firenze, i started to really watch TV during that era (lost, heroes, etc) then retired 'til GoT

Prison break was my first ever show so its special to me still. Despite last season being absolutely awful. Heroes was my 2nd and supernatural 3rd. Never watched Lost though.

Have to thank Prison break to get me into tv shows.

looking back objectively Lost was pretty inconsistent, had some insane lows but the highs were GOAT

plus everyone was talking about it from school to the work place

hardly knew anyone that wasn't all over it ffs (at least for the first 3 seasons) I've seen about 95% of the highly regarded shows from the last 10 years, still not had an experience like Lost

not in my top 5 though hmm

The OC was my first TV show, and the one that we talked about the most in school. It's still one of the best TV shows that I've ever seen, but in hindsight, I realize that a large reason for why I enjoyed it so much was the timing of it's release - my age at the time, and the fact that it's a teen drama show Razz Also, I had a huge crush on Marissa.. and her hot, jailbait sister:

randomly found myself listening the opening theme of the OC a couple of weeks ago Laughing

also watched it and enjoyed it back in the day while it was running

marissa's sister definitely turned out to be an 9.5/10 imo and the hottest out of all the actresses

Yeah, I've randomly listened to it a few times since I stopped watching the show, as well Razz Mischa Barton (Marissa) doesn't appear particularly attractive to me anymore. I don't know if it's because she's older now, or if I just have a different perspective on women. She's only 3 years older than me, but I think she looks kind of dull.. I don't know. Olivia Wilde was pretty hot when she was on the show. She's done pretty well for herself since then.

Haywire.

I also loved the OC. But got over it after a few seasons. Basically when Marissa left. Everyone was related to someone. It was like Seth's granddad had an affair with Marissa's mum, who's ex husband had a crush on Seth's mum but then dated Seth's mum's sister. Like wtf!?!?? Worst than Game of Thrones.

Prison Break was also one of my first tv series. Didn't ever finish Lost. Went on too long and gave up in season 3/4.

Prison Break season 2 was the best for me (bar the last few episodes). Mahone was an amazing character. He made that season. Season 3 ruined the series and season 4 was just ridiculous. Bringing back Sarah and Michael/Lincoln's mum from the dead. I've still got season 1 and 2 on my bookshelf. Should re-watch it sometime.

Dammit. Watched episode 1. Now I'm hooked.

Although have the blueprints for the entire prison camouflaged on tattoos covering your entire body is a bit too hard to believe...

As a structural engineer, it really annoys me how easy it was for Michael/Sucre to break through that concrete wall using an egg beater to drill 5 holes. That wall should have a grid of reinforcement which would have made it impossible to break through.

Paul Kellerman is in the (big) house!

Paul Adelstein will reprise his role in Fox’s Prison Break revival, TVLine has learned.
Adelstein, who played the Secret Service agent-turned-Congressman, joins previously announced Prison Break returnees Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Sarah Wayne Callies, Amaury Nolasco, Robert Knepper and Rockmund Dunbar.

In the drama’s new chapter, which picks up after “escape artist” Michael Scofield’s apparent death, Sara Tancredi (Callies) has moved on with her life, raising her and Michael’s child with her new husband (to be played by Royal Pains‘ Mark Feuerstein). But when clues surface suggesting that Michael (Miller) may be alive, Sara teams with his brother Lincoln (Purcell) to engineer the series’ “biggest escape ever,” as three of Fox River State Penitentiary’s most notorious escapees, T-Bag (Knepper), C-Note (Dunbar) and Sucre (Nolasco), are pulled back into the action.

Got to the end of season 2 and that's where I'll stop.

Season 2 was so amazing. Best episodes when Kellerman joins the brothers, they go back to Chicago and President Reynolds returns onto the show.

The whole Sona / Panama thing made no sense and the show went way downhill.

Worst decisions were killing Sara and then bring her back, and killing Mahone's son. I can't believe they did that...

The nationwide manhunt in season 2 was amazing. It starts going downhill around the end of season 2. Should have ended it in season 2 instead of butchering the show.
