Bert played LCM

Ely looked decent, Verdi looked alright. Calabria, Mastour and Niang stole the show today though.

Mind that this is an amateur side, i wouldn't surmise anything just yet

Nice to see MDS playing well after a horrendous season, Calabria is still too green and you can see it in his passing/movement etc. Bonaventura's passing is too erratic and inconsistent for an AM imo, we need someone else there

Yep, haven't seen the 2nd half but from what i saw of the 1st half, Bonaventura ain't gonna cut it. Its possible that if/when Ibra arrives that we'll field him alongside Bacca and LA. But in the meantime, Bona should stick to midfield.

Agreed. I would never read too much into the result of a friendly, but I think that Jack is better in the 3-man midfield.

i have a feeling that even with great defender and ibra on board it wont be enough. we really need creative midfielders.. i have been saying this for 5 years now... milan hasnt replaced seedorf pirlo kaka propperly yet!!!

they were all creative hubs to our success and we are desperately missing that

Agreed! Our MF still pretty much sucks in creating, and all the attackers in the world won't help if no one is supplying. We should have gone after someone like Gotze or Isco.
