Agreed! Our MF still pretty much sucks in creating, and all the attackers in the world won't help if no one is supplying. We should have gone after someone like Gotze or Isco.

Isco is impossible, always was. I get the feeling if we really pull out the big guns though, we could have a chance with Gotze. He might be open to taking a step down to revitalize his career, and I could see something like 40 mil being good enough for Bayern. Obviously won't happen though, as selling people like ES and replacing them with world beaters such as Bacca is clearly more important Rolling Eyes

Even Gotze would be extremely difficult given that we have no CL, however, we severely need a creative AM. As of now, the only players we have on our team that can be considered to fill that role are Honda and Bonaventura, and I don't think they're gonna cut it..

Pretty boring game that first half was
We proved the better team so far and would be ahead if we could finish some of our chances

I'm impressed with Ely, the way he carries the ball forward, is always looking for a pass and has proven an aerial threat in the inter box

I really don't know why Matri was called up instead of a young promising player like Mastour who we should be giving more game time this pre season

I must say that Jose Mauri is very level-headed in his passing (which i like), he never tries to go for those hard options because he knows he can't spray 50 yard balls, always trying to find Montolivo. He may seem rudimentary as a player, but he excels in the basic stuff.
