They don't really have to be confident. Compared to other shows, this is league above it on the pilot alone. They'd be foolish not to do it. 2mio vievers would be a succes for them.

Yeah, it will be a great hit, no doubt. First time I've seen believeable hacking (not that I have any idea about what is and what is not, but looks like it). Best new show I've seen since TD

Loved the pilot, looks to be a stunning show. I won't compare it to Fargo as they're fundamentally different shows but as a pilot it's more instantly intriguing and certainly on the same level as Fargo, Black Mirror and Utopia.

Great 2nd episode. Man I love everything about the show so far, the setting, music, acting, characters, plot.

Episode all but confirms that Mr Robot is in fact Elliot himself and the dude who pushed him is an imaginary person created inside his head, possibly with the looks of his father.

At this rate I would be surprised if he isn't.

The music is amazing, reminds me of the smoothness of ME1's OST, very nostalgic stuff but fitting

Finished the first episode.

Its eerily similar to Dexter (not that its bad, in fact thats a + in my book), his musings on the world, life, friends, etc is kinda parallel. Also, he takes digital memoirs of people he's virtually killed, much in the same way that Dexter takes blood samples from his victims

Loved the pilot, its fantastic, it felt like a movie, not your generic pilot imo.

I am getting a FC vibe from it, but i'm not 100% sure its his own imagination. At least i don't want it to be, seen too many movies use the FC trope, but not really execute it well (granted, this is a show)

Anyways, who is this Adil Rami?His acting is sublime, I'm pretty sure i've seen him somewhere else (not Night at the Museum )

Holy shit. What an ending

Fantastic 2nd episode. Even better than the first.

I love the acting in this show. Every character, even if it's a minor one, comes out as strong and gripping. That drug dealer. His monologue was so good. I thought he was going to become someone major but he was only a cameo but man that scene was amazing. So powerfully delivered.

Then the scene with the psychiatrist. That was great too.

The setting, acting, dialogues, characters and the pace is all 10/10 so far.


There are many theories so far. Most popular one I read is the one Urban posted. Mr Robot could potentially just be a hallucination. Same with the fsociety. Both could just be imaginary and not real at all.

But then they look too real to not be true. Mr Robot might be the only one who is imaginary.

They can swing it both ways at this point. If people talk too much, the writer can very make it a double bluff.

Well FSociety can't really be an imagination since they released a video regarding the hack of Evil Corp. and everyone else also saw it.

And everyone in that fsociety group in the arcade place has acknowledged Mr.Robot has being there and being the leader. I don't think he's a figment of Elliot's imagination.  

One thing it could be, is that 1 person (Elliot) has 2 personalities (like Fight Club) one of which is Mr.Robot and the other Elliot. He's basically losing his mind.

The only imaginary thing at the moment that seems to be in Elliot's head are the black suit guys following him everywhere.

RG if you are liking this then you should waste no time watching Fight Club.

The scene where Darleen (the rootkit hacker) confronts "Mr. Robot" and he just steps in front of Elliot talking to her made it kinda obvious for me when I already had my suspicions.

When Elliot said "Where is your boss?" And Darleen showed surprise is a big clue as well. Similarly, when Darleen said where were you yesterday and Elliot got confused. Think he was supposed to be there but wasn't due to his episode.


No one has had a convo with Mr Robot in the fsociety.
