BTW, from what I heard, Thomas Tuchel hired a cook and prescribed his players a diet. No wonder Dortmund looked hungrier... The Bundesliga Thread - Page 9 Hungrysmiley

Very jealous of the Barkley's Premium League thread being already in its third iteration this season while we're only on page 12.

Need to post some more random stuff.

Also Mückitarian already has 6 goals in all competitions this season, while he managed 7 the whole of last.

With Tuchel BVB finally get the best out of their record signing.

Always liked and stood by Mkhi. I'm glad he's starting to prove all the haters wrong. Looking at you Mole along with everyone else.

La Liga hasn't even crossed 3 pages, Ligue 1 is basically RG, Sports and Farfan having a chat with Nick sometimes showing up and I've yet to see a Serie A discussion thread (only a prediction and top goal scorer).

Even in GL, the marketing for the EPL is way better than the other leagues.

Lol those threads will pick up when the season starts. PL is well on its way for the 3rd week while other inferior leagues are yet to start.

That's what you say.

kicker says he's playing "football to fall in love with" this season.

Borussia Dortmund's board paid 25m € for him.

BVB's new coach Tuchel says about him:

"This is not my doing. He's got it in himself.

On the contrary, I can say it's a great pleasure to be his coach, and Mkhi, with his openness, his politeness, his respectfulness towards the whole staff and his teammates, and above all with his repectfulness towards his great talent - he attends training like a clockwork, trains on the highest possible level, doesn't feel entitled or above hard work - he is a model professional with a special character, so that's why it's a great pleasure to be his coach."

Who knows more hmm

I have nothing but love and affection for Mkhitaryan. He was the real reason for La Decima. God bless his scrublord self.

He did very well against Mönchengladbach though.

Please give me a similarly detailed assessment of Dortmund's games as Tuchels post match interviews first, so I can judge.

Please don't forget to mention passing distances, being able to move the opponent, having the right positional discipline to combine into half-spaces before trying to find a scoring solution etc.

I'm not posting atm. I'm still majorly annoyed about the fact that Borussia M'gladbach decided not to show up on matchday 1. They obviously thought the Bundesliga season would only start next weekend... No

After the painful defeat at BVB, Yann Sommer didn't hide from the media.
He called the game a "lesson" for BMG and admitted "a difference in class, physically, technically, creatively". He should have added 'shot-stoppingly' though.

He concluded: "We just were not on the pitch."

Aaaw don't worry cutie, 33 more matchdays to go.

I have the feeling Gladbach will be in trouble this season.

Not necessarily in Dortmund 14/15 trouble, but last in CL group and not finishing top 4 trouble,

How the hell do they expect to repeat their performance, with added CL, while their competitors strengthen?
What's more, strengthen at the expense of Gladback (Kramer to Leverkusen, Kruse to Wolfsburg)?
With Schalke and Dortmund certain to be better than last season?
And all they add is Leverkusen flop Drmic and Hannover scrub Stindl? Plus two teenage CBs?

How the hell is this supposed to work on the higher level?

Absolutely inexplicable. Is their financial situation so precarious?

It's one thing to overperform with a upper midtable team for 2 seasons, but they really can't expect it to work any longer, after you have aquired CL football and a top team perception.

Not sure if he had actually improved or was that just a flash in the pan, but I was stunned when he scored that goal. He have missed far easier chances before.
