We can still loan him locally, if he isn't needed.

Right now, with all the injuries piling up, it's not a bad idea to keep him at the club.

I hope Joel is given honest chances to prove himself at Arsenal. He's always wanted to show that he's good enough for Arsenal but was never given the chance and almost ended up being Vela v2.0.Now is probably his chance to resurrect his career and try to be Coq v2.0.

With there being a slight slack in our attack in recent times coupled with the mysterious matchday injuries,he could be of use as depth at the very least.

Further,if he turns out to be good we can allow Welbz to concentrate fully on being a forward a la try to work on his finishing.

Welbz is the #internal solution we need.

PSG have said that there won't be any goings in Deadline Day from them so Rabiot is not someone we'll be signing.

The search continues, but I still hope rumours of a striker start soon, Austin, Pato, Berahino, Wilson etc...

Admittedly I did laugh when Sky showed the number of signings PL clubs have made so far. Everyone has signed at least five players... except Arsenal. They've signed one. A very good one, mind you.

No matter which way you look at it, waiting for player x, not wanting to over-spend on so and so, the availability of this type of player etc...

Treble winners FC Barcelona who hardly needed new investment, with a TRANSFER BAN, signed more players than our own beloved club in this transfer window.

But our own deluded manager believes he can win the league with one addition to a team that finished 3rd last season.

We are not going to compete for anything big this year anyways, Wenger already has problems with the players he has, plus he knows City won the league. The last thing we needed was to confuse another player at Arsenal.

Next year or the year after we might compete if we feel like it. :coffee:

I will never bother with any transfers while Wenger is in charge.
