Rewatching all DC film up to BvS. Just watched Batman Begins. The action is so freaking shit, it's some of the worst I've ever not seen, because you're unable to.

Watched it few weeks ago and man that film doesn't get as much respect as the other two. Solid 9/10. Dialogues and the whole story was fantastic.

Loved everything but the action still. It gets more respect than Rises by almost everyone not on here tbh.

Re: The Official Comicbook Movies Thread: Part 2
Nah Rises is still loved more than begins. Check the reviews and ratings across all major sites for example. But its hard to rate all 3 since they were more or less equally good IMO. TDK is the best rated because of the dialogues and joker's performance. I prefer Rises overall since it personally provided the best experience.
Only thing i didn't like about rises was the ending. If they handled Bane's end better and didn't complex it too much with Talia then even the haters would have admitted how amazing it was imo.

Rises had a huge backlash after the initial critical response though, and it's widely regarded as the worst from the series. Never heard anyone call Begins the worst.

Re: The Official Comicbook Movies Thread: Part 2
BvS
Affleck
When looking at the cast, Ben Affleck is easily the most well-known member, however once you factor in his directing and screenwriting credits, which are considerably more illustrious than his acting career, he's likely the most accomplished person on set overall (save for maybe five-time Academy Award-nominee Amy Adams). Affleck has two Academy Awards to his name - one for co-writing the screenplay for Good Will Hunting alongside Matt Damon.(Jason Bourne) and another for producing Argo - and is a top-level talent worth listening to. So, what does this have to do with Batman v Superman?.
Well, as it turns out, Affleck wasn't too thrilled with the original script for the upcoming blockbuster, which was originally penned by David Goyer (who's since been removed from his maestro role in the DC universe) before being rewritten by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Chris Terrio, who has also been enlisted to write both parts of the Justice League. According to US Weekly, Affleck reportedly performed quite a few rewrites throughout the film's production, even rewriting parts right before he was set to shoot, while fully suited up in costume. They add that Affleck."would go into wardrobe and get all suited up for the day in his Batman suit, Then he would sit around reworking the script. Ben wasn’t thrilled with it and would find himself on multiple occasions fixing it the day of.” Now, this is by no means a bad thing as Affleck is an accomplished screenwriter and any contribution he made was probably for the best, but it does raise the question of what was so displeasing about the original shooting script that Affleck felt the need to utilize his own talents to fix and/or improve it? Thankfully, fans will likely never know.
Additionally, it sounds like writing for Batman here may have gotten the creative juices flowing for Affleck to potentially write and direct a solo Batman feature. US Weekly's source adds “Ben was excited to do a Batman film, He’s fascinated by the character!”

This might be the WORST movie review I've EVER seen on ANY movie. My God. The level of extreme sensitivity, ignorance and self absorbness(if that's even a word) in this review is insane!

Re: The Official Comicbook Movies Thread: Part 2
20th Century Fox is intending to make Hugh Jackman's final Wolverine movie rated R, and this was the case even before Deadpool came out.
There were rumors earlier this week that Fox would be leaving the PG-13 rating behind for the next movie because of its recent R-rated box office hit Deadpool.
However, as The Hollywood Reporter points out, the studio released a teaser image of the hero holding up the "middle claw" at Comic-Con last year. In addition, THR's insiders say that it was always designed as an R-rated movie because of the language and violence in Michael Green's script.
About time. Wolverine has always been a Rated R hero.

Never seen. But not whole movie is filmed in Imax, so shouldn't make a huge difference. Bigger screen are usually better though. I love a huge crowd also, especially for these movies.

Also Suicide Squad is a sequel chronologically and not a prequel.
No Green Lantern until after Justice League part 1.
Zack Snyder also has a plan it seems. All movies are planned and mapped out.
own thoughts: Really hope there's a legit Robin storyline, I want the family
