However I'd argue that conventional wisdom should not apply here. Roman should show they can move on from the hire and fire practices of the past

If he gets sacked then I think his career would be over. He will lose his 'aura' and then just be an attention seeking manager, nothing more.

Oh I don't know about that. He won EPL last season and 2nd the year before. Also got them to CL semis. Pretty sure Inter want him... If PSG do badly at Madrid this week, I could see them dropping Blanc for Mourinho too.

There main thing that is making Chelsea go deeper and deeper in abyss is selfishness of its manager. All he want to do is prove that he is not loser instead of trying prove that his team is not loser atleast that's what I comprehend from all his interviews. It's lyk telling players to perform because he doesn't want to be called loser or 'he' wants to win instead of motivating them for more broader cause lyk playing as a team for a team and fans.
U may ask is there a difference in playing to save Mourinhos pride and playing to prove something as team yes it is. While in first case players will be fighting a war of Mou for Mou in second case players would fight for team as whole and there is huge difference in both.
I wonder if Mourinho had said in interviews that I don't care what happens to me I get sacked or not is not important but I just want the team to play good football and win for themselves and fans the result would have different or not.

That's all there is to say at the moment.

The biggest issues are :
- Magic, Ivanovic and Hazard have been pathetically awful
- Terry is past it, Cahill is no good and Zouma.needs seasoning
- Fabregas may as well not be there

Everyone's in crap form all at once. The reason? Mourinho's motivation tactics have a shelf life and everyone knows it. He will have a great first 2 seasons and then players tune.him.out.

Jose Mourinho 2014-2015 like Fabio Capello 1997-1998. Dramatic and awful year on same club where  you were great in past. This remind me . Oh , the comebacks in football...

I would really like to see that no top club approaches him when gets sacked and then he has no choice but only clubs approaching him are someone like WestHam probably that would be so awesome when it actually happens.

He will go NT if that happens.

He'd probably retire or go to Portugal.

People are so knee jerk.

He's been easily the best manager in the last decade. 2 months of football doesn't erase that.

With that said, it's fun to watch his downfall at Chelsea's expense so for the love of god just let it continue.
