The Nice Guys is amazing. Funny in the way that Wolf of Wall Street was hilarious. Funnier than WoWS imo, and Gosling is incredible in it.

Freeza what was that sig you wanted me to hit up for the sig bet?

Spoiler:

I sure hope not. I did not enjoy those parts of Song of Susannah. I thought it rather arrogant of King myself. Don't want to see it replicated in the movie.

The more I think about that theory, the more I like it. Hopefully this is how it pans out.

Just drew my case for my final exam. I have to do a history paper on Hollywood after 1975 and place Bourne Identity in this historical context and compare it Jurassic Park.

Anyone got any ideas how they can be compared? Right now I'm thinking about how Bourne and T-Rex, raptors etc. are created by someone who eventually gets hunted by it.

Warcraft is coming out on 23 of June here. I was expecting this movie since 2008 when Blizzard announced they were going to shoot a film, but since reading about all the bad ratings from the critics I'm not sure if it's worth watching it. It sounds like that I'll get disappointed ? I'm not sure.

Are the critics simply biased because it's another "game movie" or did the directors fook up ?

Urgh why make a film based on that Laughing

Just completely unnecessary.

Seems pretty simple and easy to build a story around.

The biggest problem with Warcraft was that story and lore is pretty locked and too big to make into a cohesive 2 hour movie.

At least Warcraft was based on a franchise which is actually demanding of it though Laughing

Division is one game and it wasn't even good Laughing

The game being good is irrelevant thought tbf. The story can easily be translated into a movie, which isn't the case for a lot of other properties.

Warcraft lore is huge, but you don't need to create a sprawling epic, you can just focus on one part of the lore. So I'm not sure what your criticism really means.

It's different if you're making a movie on the bible or something, unless you're planning on sequels. Warcraft has tons of mini stories within its lore that you can make. Nobody is trying to chronicle all of it.

Though I wouldn't mind it if they did create a bunch of movies that went over all of the lore tbh Proud

When it's all said and done PTA will be a top 3 GOAT director imo. He's by far the best of his generation. I've loved everything he's done except Punch Drunk Love. But I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and watch again. I must be the one at fault.
