The kid voted for Leave in #Brexit. With all the immigrants getting all the good jobs (tyrells) the only job left is to light these candles.

It's crazy to me how people spent the entire season whining about how characters "traveled too fast!!! They're teleporting!!!"
This is season 6 of the show and we're going into season 7 now. You can spell out details of each character's journeys and how long it took for them to get to whatever destination in season 1 or 2 or 3 but by now, we don't need to be babied like that anymore. It doesn't take rocket science to figure out that significant time passes between some scenes. Not all scenes are happening in the same time frame for God's sake. It's annoying to see soooo many people including supposed professional reviewers/critics complain about that.
Do we need the huge "3 WEEKS LATER" captions and what not to settle this or what?

It's a huge pet peeve on mine when people complain about traveling between places etc.
Not everything needs to be edited to continuity. It's much more important to edit through scenes that keeps the tone, flow and emotions. Any idiot could gather for themselves that they do stuff then they're off screen.

The entire Arya arc in braavos could have been going on weeks before the other arcs. She may have been in Westeros for weeks for what we know. They don't have spell it out for us

Alessio Cersei has been a jobber for the most part in my eyes since her Dad Tywin died (May he rest in piece the GOAT) But she was an absolute badass in this episode. She's legit again.

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 7 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
Nothing legit about Cersei, she just keeps self destructing herself, her house and the throne at every decision. By far the most inept main player we've had.
Alienated and eventually killed Pycelle even though he actually had been serving her/the Lannisters the whole time.
Accused and condemned Tyrion even though he was innocent and saved her ass and the city.
Sent Jaime (her only unconditional supporter) away.
Made an enemy of Kevan.
Burned the sept in what was an extremely dumb move, making literally everyone against her.
Killed her only remaining allies (the Tyrells).
Caused the death of her last son.
Nothing she has done since seizing Ned (which was mostly Littlefinger anyway) has strengthened her or her house. Now she has a worthless throne, no army, no money, no sons, no daughter, no dad, no uncle, no little brother and made an enemy of everyone in the world except for the Freys whose leaders are now dead.
The north is against her, the vale is against her, the iron islands are against her, Highgarden is against her, Dorne is against her, Daenerys is against her, probably whats left of Dragonstone and Storms End is against her, Casterly Rock might even be against her depending on what Jaime does.
Up there with Edmure Tully as one of the dumbest characters with any power in the show.
Tywin would die again if he saw what she is doing to the family and the throne.

Re: GAME OF THRONES - PART 7 - *NO BOOK TALK - READ THE RULES*
Tywin wasn't wrong when he told her "You're smart, but not as smart as you think you are".
She has now become "The Mad Queen"; a bloodthirsty ruler hellbent on killing everybody without taking the time to oversee the consequences and take the necessary precautions. She's a reckless, short-sighted character who lets her emotions get the better of her and usually ends up with her back against the wall. Only this time, there's no Tyrion or Tywin to bail her out.
Her days on the Iron Throne are numbered. I would even go as far as to say that she may very well suffer the same fate as the mad king, with Jaime or Tyrion most likely to be the one stabbing her in the back.
She's now got Daenerys coming from the east, the Martells and Tyrells from the South, The Starks from the North and pretty much every single House in Westeros against her and seething for revenge.
She's done.

But yeah he's not Ned's bastard and got a claim for the throne due to his father's side.
Can see him marrying Dany though
I really can't see Jon marrying Danny. They are nephew/aunt and that would be too much of a happy ending.
About the episode, I'm not sure about the king in the north scene. I thought Jon would tell them the Queen was Sansa. Also, her look to littlefinger seemed worried, not a smile of condescendence. Trouble again between Sansa and Jon?
Lady Mormont again was GOAT. Tommen should have been raised as a hostage at Bear's Island.

Wasn't Kevan at the Sept? He would be dead, hence not her enemy but she's a kinslayer and should have casterly rock against her too. It's a dumb move really. Yes, it puts her in a power position and kills some of here enemies, but it dooms her eventually. She should have tried to work it out with the Tyrrells.
Also, how many seasons are there left? some of you talk like it is confirmed there will be two seasons more, do we know this for sure? I thought there would be 7 seasons like the books.

Sansa wanted Jon to be the King in the North. She was smiling and happy for him when the northern houses proclaimed him king. She lost her smile because she spotted Littlefinger and immediately knew he was unhappy with how things unfolded and would probably try to find a way to get Jon out and replace him with Sansa. It's enough cause for worry.
And as for the series length:
http://deadline.com/2016/06/game-of-thrones-season-6-finale-david-benioff-d-b-weiss-hbo-1201780242/David Benioff wrote:It’s two more seasons we’re talking about. From pretty close to the beginning, we talked about doing this in 70-75 hours, and that’s what we’ll end up with. Call it 73 for now. What Dan says is really true, but it’s not just trying not to outstay your welcome. We’re trying to tell one cohesive story with a beginning, middle and end. As Dan said, we’ve known the end for quite some time and we’re hurtling towards it. Those last images from the show that aired last night showed that. Daenerys is finally coming back to Westeros; Jon Snow is king of the North and Cersei is sitting on the Iron Throne. And we know the Night King is up there, waiting for all of them. The pieces are on the board now. Some of the pieces have been removed from the board and we are heading toward the end game. The thing that has excited us from the beginning, back to the way we pitched it to HBO is, it’s not supposed to be an ongoing show, where every season it’s trying to figure out new story lines. We wanted it to be one giant story, without padding it out to add an extra 10 hours, or because people are still watching it. We wanted to something where, if people watched it end to end, it would make sense as one continuous story. We’re definitely heading into the end game now.

Only 13 episodes left?
It's fine really of that's the best way to tell their story, but considering they cut soany characters I can't help but feel that they are purposely trying to shorten the life of the show.

If there's one thing you need to keep in mind about Game of Thrones is that nothing is done for the sake of it. The scene in the Godswood of Winterfell between her and Baelish as well as the emotionless look they gave each other in the throne room later weren't for nothing. It was a deliberate and calculated decision from the writers to make them both look at each other the second Jon is declared King in The North.
Neither her nor Jon knew that Lyanna Mormont and the other houses would support "the bastard" instead of "the Stark girl", and it was obvious from their reaction. And then, even though Jon had told her that she should be the ruler of Winterfell prior to the meeting, he stood up when everybody declared him King in the North and accepted their allegiance. Pay close attention to Sansa's face when he stoop up; that could be the breaking point.
Sansa has always been impressionable, more so under the guile of Baelish, a master of the mind games and strategist of the highest order. The latter calculated everything and was 1000 steps ahead of everybody else. Each of his moves is meticulous and deadly accurate. He killed a king and anticipated all the ripples that would ensue. He knows what he's doing and he wouldn't have declared for House Stark hadn't he had guarantees that the flow would go as he planned
If you think about it, Sansa has been depicted as the girl who wants things, as opposed to Arya, and that she wouldn't mind lying to get what she wants.
1. She lied about the butcher's son to please Joffrey.
2. She lied about the circumstances of Lady Arryn's death.
3. She lied to her brother about the incoming Vale army.
But, and this is going to go against everything I wrote above, I think Sansa will dupe Littlefinger into thinking she's with him by agreeing to do whatever he wants...then in the last second of the show, she'll pull the plugs and drop the act.
I think she'll be the only character to outwit Littlefinger.
