It's the same squad as always, just with Lingard getting a call-up and Glen Johnson outta nowhere. If Southgate wanted more players he knew he'd have called up Ward-Prowse and Redmond as well.

Henderson and Dier the only real midfielders in the squad is a bit of a concern.

Henderson-Dier-Alli is going to be the midfield 100%.

Maybe he might try Oxlade in there. Barkley is in shit form these days.

Shearer wants Southgate to call up Deeney. No comment on that. Although there isn't much difference between Deeney and Vardy

We really miss Welbeck.

100% will be Dier-Henderson-Rooney Laughing Can't imagine Southgate binning Rooney for his first game as manager.

In case you haven't watched England in the last 5 years, Welbeck always performs well for England.

Would rather see Welbeck than Michail Antonio, who's only claim to fame is being to win back post headers.

Nothing wrong with calling up Glen Johnson, he's a good player, had a solid season for Stoke last season. Most likely his call up is down to Clyne being injured, but Johnson ain't bad.

Lingaard probably deserves a chance, considering how few English midfielders have impressed in the national shirt as of late.

lol Clyne not called up. Laughing Him and Bellerin are so far away the two best RBs in the league that it's laughable.

Glen Johnson out through injury. Burnley's Michael Keane called up as a replacement.
