I remember last game or whichever game it was Danilo scored, Carvajal was rotting on the bench again. wtf is going on?

He's not "benching" Carvajal, but more like he's playing so that Carvajal can get some rest.

The strange thing here is that Danilo should've rotated with him against Espanyol, not against Villarreal, because that was the game that Danilo should've started.

Choosing an attacking formation with Danilo and Marcelo as fullbacks? That's asking for trouble.

We control games a ton more at the Bernabeu. So playing Danilo at home is less risky given he won't have to defend as much.

vidal has been terrible defensive and average offensive

sergi roberto has excelled so far in both (although not heavily tested) the difference in form is night and day.
