Barcelona Are Ordinary!
Midfield- ordinary
defence- SHIT with crisp toppings of brainfarts and stupidity.
GK- ordinary (but hey he can pass a ball and just assisted two goals)
Manager- Very Ordinary.
Casuals see highlights of our insanely gifted forwards and are fooled to think whole team is good. News flash! Barca are ordinary except in forward department. So next time when ur team faces Barca no need to treat us favourites anymore, just press us hard and watch us shit in our pants and enjoy!

Re: Barcelona Are Ordinary!
Barcelona are more reliant on Messi than ever before. That is mainly because of how their midfield has regressed over the years.
From the days of Busquets, Xavi and Iniesta to the likes of Gomes, Dennis Suarez and Rafinha taking their place.
Iniesta is aging and can't play as consistently as before. Busquets isn't adjusting well with the other scrubs.
This is why people were laughing when Barcelona decided to pay 40m for Andre Gomes. He is literally a poor version of Gundogan.
Then you have the likes of Paco Alscrubcer and Alex Vidal as super subs
Barca's play revolved heavily around MSN anyways but without Messi there it's worse than ever.
Sack Enrique and hire LVG.

Re: Barcelona Are Ordinary!
Genuine question then.
Why is it that they won every game easily last year including against Real Madrid without Messi when he was out last year?
What changed from last season to this?

Easy, it was Neymar and Suarez going God Mode coupled with Madrid being coached by a clown = 0-4.

That doesn't explain why they beat everyone else and why they can't even beat Celta this season.

Re: Barcelona Are Ordinary!
People keep ignoring that the Euro, Copa America and the Olympics happened this summer... Â crap and inconsistent starts by teams with a lot of international players has been common since forever after summer tournaments. Â
I'd wait until January/February and see what the clubs look like.

Re: Barcelona Are Ordinary!
Their defence isn't ordinary, it's shit.
And what RG said about over-reliance on Messi since their midfield nowadays seems just about good enough to get the ball to Messi and nothing else.

@mole
Messi wasn't there to tell them where to go
This isn't even a joke
Messi usually takes up places in that vacant CAM area and tells other mids to take other places.

I get that lol, but i'm just confused why they won like every game without him last year.
No one has really explained that to me yet, did Iniesta play every game and make that much difference or something lol?

Didn't they play three at the back with Neymar and Suarez as a two, or am I remembering that wrong?

Re: Barcelona Are Ordinary!
Barcelona are very ordinary. I said this at the beginning of the season when I slated both Madrid and Barca.
The only reason Barca are winning anything is because of the greatest trio of all time. When one of them is out injured or out of form they struggle.
At least 2 of them have to be on god mode at all times which is what they were last season. Luiz Enrique is a very meh coach. He has no idea how to set up a defense or offense. His idea is to give the ball to MSN and let them do their magic. On defense again just hope individual defending can do the job. Their organization is awful.
Their midfield just doesn't work in trios that Enrique plays them. Iniesta is past his best. Bisquit is past his prime was carried by Xavi anyhow. Gomes
Their defense is awful.
Madrid does the same thing with BBC under Zidane Except BBC ain't shit compared to MSN
Zidane and Enrique are the weakest duo of coaches to manage the two clubs at the same time. Possibly all time. I can't remember the last time both teams were coached by such scrubs at the same time.

Re: Barcelona Are Ordinary!
The thing with Barça is that they may drop points here and there, but you can bet your ass they'll be challenging for the title towards the end of the season. Last year they lost to Celta but still ended up winning the league later.
I wouldn't worry at all if I were them because:
1) Their best player, who's also the best player in the world and their secret coach, is out injured.
2) they have a clear philosophy and a well-defined tactical plan.
3) They have no prima donnas and everybody contributes to winning the ball back.
And if you really want to win the league, you have to capitalize on the few occasions where they drop points. If you don't, you'll regret it later.
I think Enrique is happy that he, so far, has lost twice, yet he still finds himself 2 points shy off the top.

Iniesta and Rakitic were doing their roles perfectly and Busi was hitting purple patch.

Maybe, i'm just saying that everyone keeps saying they fall to pieces when ever one of their front 3 is out and that hasn't been the case until this injury and seeing as i don't watch them i'd like to know the reasons lol.

Re: Barcelona Are Ordinary!
Suarez was unplayable and their midfield was Busquets Iniesta Rakitic which was consistent and worked well.
But Iniesta as good as he still is doesn't have the same stamina. And Enrique is trying to prevent last season's mistakes of no rotation by completely changing the midfield after every CL game or internationals.

They really don't.
Give the ball to MSN and play some poor version of possession game that's echoing from Pep era is not a well-defined tactical plan.

Re: Barcelona Are Ordinary!
You must be young dude... Rafa Benitez, Schuster, Remon, Querioz, etc. Plenty of far more crap managers at Madrid.
Also, remember that Barca won the treble 2 years ago and the La Liga/CDR double last season while Madrid won the CL.
I get it... unless these two clubs are completely dominant, the manager sucks. Such is the logic with fans today. But that's not how it works especially after a busy summer for the players and a ton of injuries on both sides.
